@newzbug11 The subtitles aren't meant to be funny, that's just the the amount of mistakes you get with the transcribe audio feature, which is in beta stage. Ithas been forever and no end in sight. It's probably to complicated to accurately transcribe all accents etc.

I love Gervais' love of Letterman's deadpan sarcasm. Gervais' love of it / outburst actually makes Letterman funnier. Letterman is always the funniest he's ever at as an interviewer when Gervais is on. It's like Gervais next to Pilkington, Gervais' prompting of the sarcasm and reaction to it, amplifies it.
