Mos Def is sick! don't get me wrong but Big Pun in such a short time on this planet was so sick. His lyrics were on fire and he alwys outshined and lyrically killed Fat Joe! everytime Miss the man but Mos Def is tight as well!

...But nah the whole fukkin world was happy 2 let a white dude come in and contradict the very foundation of Hip Hop being for the oppressed people! Yeah, I was watching American Rap Stars on ShoTime, and ?uestlove from the Roots was on it. When someone asked him what he thought of Hip Hop, and I quote, he said "Hip Hop is only gonna get worse, unless it does some kind of self-examination"
greatest rappers were born in the early 1970's TUPAC - 1971 BIGGIE - 1972 NAS - 1973 EMENEM - 1972 SNOOP - 1971 BIGPUN - 1971 REDMAN - 1970 GHOST - 1970 RAEKWON - 1970 BIG L - 1974 DMX - 1970 METH - 1971 thank god they represent my hiphop generation, i was born in 1971. the rappers born in the 1960's were HOT also. it was 1980's babies who destroyed HIPHOP :(
great videos, brings back some memories, have alot of others I would add for sure, but its still a blast from the past, I can agree that the 90's were the best decade for hip hop for sure, now its even more mainstream and while some is ok, its alot of garbage mostly and fake ass artists. I like very few now. Lupe Fiasco is one I actually like and think is original.
All of these joints are dope, I really miss those days...I remember saying to myself just around the time when Master P came around(that punk of all punks) What if the rap-scene was dominated by clowns of his soft..10 years later that seems to be the exact scenario..
