I wish General Clark would run for President. But since that is not the case, I would still love to see him running for vice president with any democratic presidential nominee.

At Hopkins SAIS in a speech on restoring America's legitimacy a few days ago, Wes stated that he's trying to bring these issues forward, and not be caught up in the "oh, he's only saying that to advance" nightmare of campaign politics. Thank you EC for your reply and your video on Clark. I agree that he's been concentrating on the war more than I'd like and all us Clarkies hope he gets into the race soon. Maybe in August or early Sept., right before the release of his new book. Take care.

General Clark is not a one issue candidate. He is a soldier/scholar. Not only is he an expert in foreign affairs, but economics and the sciences are also feathers in his cap. He has taught economics and philosophy. There is no on out there, be it declared or undeclared who can compare to his knowledge and experience. Let's go Clark in '08!!

Boom! LOL! I totally agree that anyone running, or planning to run, for president needs to be letting us know their views & plans on all the important issues. Some things are more important than others, but it's all important. I think that he doesn't have much chance, as he is less well known than Gore & Thompson, as well as being the one note candidate. Perhaps he's waiting to jump in & then be picked as V.P. by someone who has no military experience, to back them up.
