Even Jesus wouldn't deny that the Cross has been used as a symbol of oppression throughout the ages. I dare not oppose God, but in denying the blood shed in God's name is just as bad as if I had shed it myself. No person, whether they are of God or not, is above committing atrocities.
@tellthetruth777 The fact that you draw satisfaction from the idea of someone who disagrees with you burning in hell is pretty fucked up and not very Christ like.
The cross has only been a symbol of peace for the last two centuries. You forget the inquisition and the crusades where the cross was seen as symbol of conquest and oppression. Not to mention the first time the cross was used as Christian symbol (they had used the pentacle prior) was at the Battle of the Milvian Bridge, where Constantine told his soldiers that god would grant them victory if they daubed the sign of the cross on their shields.
Salvation for eternity. Isn't that the bottom line? Where will we all spend eternity. To me there can be nothing more important than that. Wether we fight to the death or go peacefully as marthers, it will not matter. We look at what is going on in the world and we know Bible prophecy is being fulfilled. We keep our eyes on Jesus.
Mr. Whitehead, The state of this country is diluted at best. There are too many different kinds of people doing to many different things. Technology has seperated most of us, And brought some of us together. Most people don't care any more, Or are misinformed. I am scared. I dont like to say it, But it is true. Also... Mr. Whitehead, What do you think the relevance of Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged" would be right now? I think it would be rather significant, To say the least. Cheers!

I'm sorry but the history of the cross is bloody.

among men, an appeal to order as that which must dictate peace and work as the only solution?

Great video. Whatever way you express your spirituality, as long as it isn't about coercion it can only be peaceful.

Mainstream organised Christianity today is about right wing politics. There are very few people who actually follow the teachings of Christ.
