Hess said "we walked down to the 8th floor when there was an explosion" then the interviewer added the "explosions" remark trying to link the towers 1 & 2 to his event and outside of building 7. Hess is not saying the building was empty or why it is empty or when it was emptied that morning or why the power went out when building 7 was on top of a power station. Then the "debunkers" use a two stage collapse to explain away the free fall time by multiplying the event free fall time by 2.

Is it wrong to guess that if the fire had an even temperature throughout the building to melt the steel that it would cause it to fall evenly straight down , like a controlled demolition ? The conditions would have to be perfect though . I've seen controlled demolitions that weren't as perfect as building # 7. It just makes me wonder if it was a freak of nature for all the steel columns to buckle evenly throughout the building because of the fire, therefore bringing it straight down.

And not to mention the fact that WTC 1 hit WTC 7 in a more severe way than for instance WTC 2 hit the Bankers Trust building on its way down. The building was crippled, and on fire for 7 hours without any rescue efforts, due to the break in the waterline, and due to the risks outweighing the gain of rescuing a doomed empty building. The firefighter were all explaining that tower 7 was beyond rescue, they were not given orders, Chief Nigro did, and they all said WTC7 can't be rescued it will.

A single unprotected steel column with a little bit of weight on it will buckle in about 5 seconds in 1800 degrees. Steel weakens in 13-1800 F fires.

Steel melts at 2500F, steel looses 50% of its strength at 1300F. The fires were at 1800F

The windows of the surrounding buildings would have been blown out all the way around its facade (ctr demo expert Mark Loizeaux's words) this did not happen. As I said, building 7 was upgraded. The former WTC7 was almost 30 years old. WTC 1 and 2 were design to withstand plane impacts, and they did, even heavier impacts than intended. They never said ANYTHING if the buildings would ENDURE the impacts along with the fires, it is a well known fact steel doesn't behave very well when exposed to fire!
