looks like a 66 Galaxie........when I was in RIO, the VW`s looked like older ones......and the LTD was a luxury Car.....this was in 1972

Gracias por publicar tu video del LTD del año 72 (Made In Brazil). Lo que mas me gusta del modelo fue su evolucion en cuanto al diseño, sabemos que el modelo base es del año 66, pero tiene mucho valor lo retoques que se le hicieron durante todos esos años.

Hasta que año se fabrico el LTD o Galaxie? Fue hasta 1982-83.

actually this is the `73 ford galaxie. In these years we had in Brazil two models of Galaxie. The 500 and the LTD-Landau, both sedans 4 door. This car is a LTD-Landau model, and had always vinyl roof, a smaller rear window and an "S" shaped symbol in rear column. Galaxie started to be produced here in `67 and both `67 and `68 was just like the US' `66. On `70 and on, until the end of brazilian production, the galaxie's design was developed in brazil. The `73-`75 were inspireted in Lincolns.

Is this an stock model? Because my Father had a 66 Station Wagon Galaxie and look quite different than this model. In the american market in 1968 the headlights and grill changed drastically.

AIRPLANEMAN1965, that body style was used on the 1965 and 1966 Ford LTD's in the US same doors, windows, dash etc but the grill and tail lights on this version are differant. The US version where powered by either a 352 V-8 or a 390 V-8 back then before the 351's came out.

Let me figure this out, this is 1972 Ford Galaxie for maybe down in S. America? I guess we know what a 72 model looks like in the US, and your'e right. It looks like a 65 or 66 model. Never knew Ford did this
