  • where can i get your music???

  • damn...screech fucking ROCKS

  • Where'd you get your World War II microphones...WORLD WAR II?

  • Saw these guys last night in glasgow and they were brilliant. Much better than Kurt Vile who headlined.

  • @sadysady65 aw man thats dissapointing to hear, just the kurt vile part, but good for these guys though.

  • @takomaskate I saw kurt vile not too long ago, and he was fucking radical.

  • those baby guitars make a totally different sound...gotta get a new one...this is great

  • would've loved to have been in that store that day....so simple it makes you drool....any fool can complicate things but so nice to here a more feelings based sound :)

  • damn.....can't wait to see them live! and I need Jeremy's glasses!

  • anyone who knows the chords?

  • @AtleHaaland Yeah... it's a root strum pattern... He anchors on a C shape so it may be a bit confusing to watch his hands. It's Am G C... and later on it turns C F... it's just a different combination... During the little solo it's Pulls and hammers on the the Am/Amsus7... The solo is really just playing the same thing but sliding the bar a few octaves higher.

  • He has a rockin' beard

  • where are they from?

  • HIPSTERSSSSSSSSS

  • @d4sh94 shut up. stop using that word; it's lazy.

  • @d4sh94 What do you mean?

  • @d4sh94 That's what she said.

  • Does anybody know what brand mics they're using?

    sounds amazing

  • @16metres Circa late '60s to mid '70s Shure Green Bullets. First used as broadcast mics then harmonica mics. I personally own one of the newer ones with the volume pot and they still sound fucking great. They also sing through amps, what sounds like a Fender Deluxe or similar. Thee Oh Sees also utilize this technique, though with regular mics or modified telephone receiver mics.

  • I feel like crying right now. His voice is immensely beautiful.

  • What brand of guitar is that acoustic?

  • @Beaner1025 It's a vintage Silvertone, late 50's/ early 60's era...you can still find them often on ebay for cheap...great guitars...

  • They will be big. Just give it time and then they will lose the sound you loved and then you will hate them but you can say you heard them before anyone else i.e. when they were unique and good....GODDAMN THEY ARE GOOD!!!!! and lucky me they are playing at my bar next thurs!

  • Amazing song. Thanks for putting this up.

  • songs of shame is brilliant

  • Such a great song. Then again so is almost every Woods song.

  • cool strap

  • wow a beard and glasses they must be a serious band. no only joking theyre great.

  • at last my life has become complete

  • they look like shure green Bullet mics. They're primarily harmonica mics.

  • @togoriantrap That explains the dying cat sound of his voice

  • Excellent song off of an excellent album. What kind of microphone is that?

  • I want to know too!

  • HOW IS WOODS NOT MASSIVELY POPULAR?

  • i think they are. not?

  • @alexthayer people are dumb. people like nickleback, and green day is headlining lollapalooza this year? huh?

  • @alexthayer Because they had a few albums of music that was unlistenable. They just recently decided to put out another great album oh and for a good long time the band never played a real set. I can think of 4 times when I saw them that they played 3 songs and 30 minuets of just noise. Aside from that they deserve all the praise they get for the music that they make. They are an awesomely talented group of folks.

  • @alexthayer I know, right?!?

  • @alexthayer I DONT KNOW!

  • @alexthayer Because they are too good!

  • @alexthayer They are. Check out their lastfm. 2 million + plays is pretty popular in the underground circuit

  • Curious perfection!. Fucking awesome!

  • hahah dude smilesss

  • Amazing song and great performance.

  • microphones!!!

  • Finally, a live version on here. This is by far my favorite Woods song. Love it......
