BEST LESSON EVER!! Almost every lesson on youtube is from 90% insignificant talking, people still repeat already said things, then you must watch ten minutes video for a one minute of showing tab and technique. Your video is straight, perfectly understanding and not even a one percent of uselles words. Thank you very much
I've seen Lifeson demonstrate this slightly differently, but I like the way you play it, Mark, because it's easier to pick it that way. Sort of a combination of alternate and economy, and my hands work better that way. At tempo, you can't tell the difference anyway. Thanks!
Very cool. Most people cheapen the riff by pulling off to an open B instead of picking the open E after the fretted D. I have been arguing that point for years. Although I can't do it very well myself, it's still the only right way to do it.
Hey Mark, Great video! I know your a busy guy but i have a quick question for you. I have to option to get either an Axe FX or a Mesa Boogie Roadster. Which would you choose? I play mostly at home but do play some live shows here and there.
Help, my guitar is in perfect tune but it still does not sound right and I'm playing the same notes you are!!!

i prefer that on the 2cnd part to just do the same but instead to do 2 0 3 0 4 rather than that tricky part

How do you pick the intro? Straight up down or..? I have all the notes down, I just can't get it up to speed. It just doesn't "flow"

@samhillband Thanks for the reply! Axe it is! do you recomend a ART SLA 2 or a tube power amp?
jayman1986777 11 months ago
@jayman1986777
The SLA2 is a great choice for cheap, light power. I prefer a Mesa 2:100 or VHT 2/50/2.
