@ELPRESADORi Yea it should even play Crysis 2 on max, I am not sure of this sense its not even out yet but it should at least play well. But it should play crysis on max without lag. I would encourage you to also get mods for the game such as "Xtreme FX" because they make the game look even better. most mods come from crymod.com

My current setup is a i7 920 with a GTX 470 and I play crysis on max plus mods pretty smoothly with no lag. And yours is better than mine so yea, your good.

I can imagine crysis 2 being amazing. We were all amazed by the likes of Doom3 back in the day, and that was 5 years ago or something, so the next 5 years are going to be phemominal, especially as PC hardware is getting cheaper.

I can easily see graphics in the next 15 years surpassing the human eye, as weird as it sounds. but while pc hardware is getting cheaper, there are more expensive parts coming out (the gtx 295 is like $500). Pcs will always be about as much as they are, just depends on how much you're willing to pay.

Fraps destroys frames. The processor is fine and RAM won't be a problem if he has more than 2 gigs.

This game is extremely demanding. Don't expect single cards to do very well.

No. At that resolution, maybe 10fps. GTS 250 is just a 9800GTX. I would recommend Medium with some on high with that card.
