The facial expressions are a brilliant,the pursed, vinegar mouth,etc, but the voice hasn´t got a hint of the timbre, and has a somewhat monotonous intonation. It is most irritating!
Gielgud has a nancified voice, but not that monotonously nancified!
Brilliant!Brilliant!. Telfer totally inhabits the character we all know and breathes such accurate life and warmth into the piece. Why isn't he in the West End???
Thanks for this and the other kind comments. I thought George was very good when I saw him for the first time last year in "Spears", which is why I suggested we shoot an excerpt for YouTube to get him in front of a bigger audience, and maybe get some more bookings for him and these plays.
