well if you ever get any macs and sea trout up on the shores you best be casting your fly rod next time man!!! i bet a decent mack would put up a good fight on the fly!,

im all about fly fishing in the salt water when i go back home to nfld, people think im nuts and i think there nuts for not fishing the salt more often! if your not catching sea trout your catching flatties or connors!! any fish on the fly is a good fish

Hey young buck!! have you ever caught anything else while trolling for mackerel like a sea trout? my cousin a few years back was trolling with a big all red devil for mackerel and ended up hooking into one of his biggest ever atlantic salmons!! but thats never happened again ever since and of coarse he had to let it go.

Right near there we fish a beach, where the bait is pushed up along the beach and the fish school there to feed, we once got 20 mackerel and 2 nice sea trout!
