hola, tengo una maquina igual a la tuya. intente varias veces instalar el OS X 10.5 pero no hay forma. Siempre cuando empieza a loguear con la manzanita, aparece un simbolo de prohibido y ahi queda. estoy seguro que debe ser algo en la customizacion. el kernel o algun driver. me pasarias por favor las opciones que tu elegiste para que funcionara. muchas gracias

@GermanTutorials1 buddy download ideneb the new version and it will work but keep the ipc dvd with u coz most of the drivers will be in ipc :) hope it work with you i write now from mac :) hope it will help

Hey, I have hp dv 2000 notebook and i tried installing iPC OSx86 10.5.6 Universal PPF5 Final but it says loading darwin and restarts the computer i an endless loop. I tried -v at boot , -cpus=1 nothing works ...and If i try with the ideneb 1.3 will it work ???

kalyway 10.5.2 works on my DV2000 series DV2408 if that helps

go on the menu bar in the installation screen and select disk utility select you ur hd go to the erase tab and go to the volume format drop down box and select mac os extended (journaled) and then click erase hope i helped

i got thru the installation , when i boot after the installation it gets me to the darwin menu tries to boot from the drive that ideneb is installed on , and reboots the computer , i looked for forums but didnt find a thing , if anyone has a solution id be verry happy , thanks

Hmm Can you help me please?!? I boot it up and get an erro sign on top of the apple when trying to install on the grey screen. I try with -v and it says "Still waiting for root device"

Dude what was your problem with GRUB because I can not get mine to boot from GRUB. Error 17

Well, first you need to add "Mac OS X" into the boot menu of grub (by editing grub in linux, google it).

My problem was with a previous installation of Leopard, with the string in grub already added, it booted directly vista (as you can see in the video), then I had to repair the grub menu with the ubuntu live cd.

Los equipos de la serie Tx al parecer vienen muy predefinidos para correr siempre vista, por eso presentan tantos problemas con otros sistemas operativos.

Para instalar mac, creo recordar, tuvieron que modificar la bios para que pasara de "still waiting for root device", pero es peligroso aún.

Felicitaciones por poderle poner Xp, ese solo hecho ya es un logro xD.

I think you might have to partition the hard drive in order for that not to happen

It's just a partition, not the whole disk, after partitioning I had to repair Vista's boot. It should be the same thing with Xp
