  • I am a black stylist working with a predominantly white, Indian and Asian clientele. I liked the movie. It was made to shed light to something most white ppl never put too much thought to. It helped my co-workers understand what I go through with my hair. I talk openly with my Indian clients and they tell me their experiences with shaving their head for that ritual. I do think there are some closeminded ppl who only took the negative things from it, but that will happen.

  • I saw the Indians discarding the hair from the Temple ritual and then the hair people would collect it to use in weaves. Did I see that part right? If so, why aren't the Indians trying to capitalize more in the process?

  • The documentary was good. It brought to mind how we as black people need to be more active in giving our dollars back to our community, open up more black hair supply stores ourselves so we can reap the benefits and give back to our community. It also reminded me why I decided to go natural and not want to buy into the relaxed hair madness any more.

  • zapzfaya I agree. I ithought it was a great movie! I didnt have a problem with it all.

  • my only opinion was i wish he would have had more people in it with natural hair
