Nice video with the details. Can the LCD portion be replaced? My daughter closed the car door on her Droid 2. The Touch Glass is broken and looks like the LCD "might" be cracked? Any help would help. Thanks.

that phone sucks ass...i have it and i hate it...it touches one little spot in the screen all the time so i busted the screen by smashing it on the window sill in my room and i cant get a completely different phone...piece of shit man

If you go by this idiot's video, you will end up costing yourself $35 for a new flex ribbon cable. I was going to take my D2 apart before seeing this video! Everything is glued down or some sort of metal sticker so it looks real! Very disappointed in Motorola!!! Although it was a good video and had all the steps, Thanks.

@boulespuantes that is exactly why I didn't want to take mine apart after seeing this video. So is that "Metal" speaker grill on the back just ruined after you pull it off then, among with all the other parts that are glued on? I am no phone expert but have successfully dismantled several different devices and compared to those this seems kinda cheap!

@DroidzforLife the speaker grill is an aluminum sticker and the rubber feeling plasic by the camers is ruined...if you actually want to put it back together or need those parts this will not help.
