Difference on Mac ads and generals ads from Asus, Acer, HP, Compaq, Dell etc is that they maintain the laws around advertisement, like for example... not trying to make fun of a company or say that company is worse than them. Mac's are good for one thing though, and that is video editing, still overpriced but superior. For anything else, there's PC. And reason there aren't viruses on Mac (well hardly any) is because of that the governments produced the first viruses to gain secret information.
@wills22nd lol that's why they invented the ps3. There are far more things to do on a computer than just game. I'd rather my work be secure and not have to reinstall an OS every year or so. Gets annoying

Just because something is popular, doesn't mean it's the best. That's like saying Mcdonalds is the best restaurant in the world because lots of people go there.
Lol well of COURSE they're rated No. 1 in customer satisfaction - PCs have a much larger userbase, which means they're gonna get a far bigger distribution of opinions - some people have a PC just 'cause its a computer and as a result probably don't have that high satisfaction, whereas most people who own a Mac bought it SPECIFICALLY for buying a Mac, so they'll be more happy with their end product.
Just means PCs are still wayyyyyy more popular though :P

I would be desperate if my market share is much lower than my competitor. What Macs need are MORE popular applications that run natively on it. One of the main reasons why people get PCs is because of the wide variety of software available for it compared to Macs. Macs do have a lot of software available for it, but PCs surely have much more than them.
@darkaLexBC they are sorry to say ... you can't say a mac is a super advanced piece of technology if the only way to upgrade it ... is to get a new one, ok boys its been 3 years time to get another low grade mac i heard they are on sale for only 8,799 this time! cheaper then my last one!

Except when you dont actually need to upgrade it because its fine the way it is. I have had mine for a year (macbook aluminium) and my brother just brought a sony viao for the same price. One week later, he is using my mac to play games because his underpowered pc is weak.
@Brunhinn can't upgrade a mac? wtf are you talking about i just replaced my 4gb ddr3 memory with 2 4gb sticks and replaced my hardrive with a new SSD. I have no clue what you're talking about + i bought the upgrade to snow leopard for 25$
