Nicely put together. If you want to improve your flow only practice will help w/ that - not sure how badly you want to be able to connect in this way. You had some very inspired turns of phrase, and the content was great overall.
Except I don't like the chess metaphor. You want something instantly & universally relatable as personal & deeply integral. To make an emotional impact (you're fighting DESPAIR!) you need a metaphor that communicates the self-murdering aspect of not participating.
It was good, but would have been better if you were able to put more certainty and conviction behind your words. That had to be difficult though, and I highly commend you. Perhaps next time you should rehearse more, and attempt performing in front of people to get more of a feel for it. Give it another go on another topic. Lyrics were fantastic...two thumbs up...I can only select one though...so technically it's one thumb up...ok...extra mental thumb.= D
@SexyWifey135 The "conviction" you're talking about is largely due to the two audio files not matching up entirely. I recorded myself listening to the background track to isolate the two, but when I imported that video, it didn't match up, and I had to edit the poo out of it.
