Why would you hate ZJ? He's not a threat to anyone. He's got a viewpoint and he argues it passionately and logically. We can disagree with him. We can point out flaws in his logic. But there's no reason to hate him or call him names.
I don't think his goal is to piss people off. Most of those people could care less about logical argumentation. They just spout outrageous crap. But ZJ...he obviously has deep convictions about his topics and he's just motivated to share them.

You're welcome to your opinions on Leviticus. But what you might not know is that, pointing out the "dumbness" of The Law actually SUPPORTS Christian theology rather than refutes it. Central to Christianity is the belief that (1) the purpose of The Law was to (basically) prove how FUTILE it is to attempt to gain righteousness through bondage to rules (2) Due to the atonement of Christ, The Law no longer has power over us.

God does not hate homosexuals, if by "homosexuals" you mean the persons who experience attraction to the same sex. God's objection is to the ACT, not the person. (Yeah, I know you view the two as one and the same, but this is a debatable point...)
As for "the rules"... Christian doctrine teaches that _ALL_ of the rules are null and void because they were "fulfilled" in Christ. Christianity is not about following rules. It is about aligning oneself with God's will.

If someone came up with that answer, a math teacher might allow them to consider it and then give evidence as to why it is wrong. Second, your claim that gays are being treated as second class citizens involves two a priori assumptions that you cannot objectively support: (1) that homosexuality is an inate trait on the level of race (2) That gay unions are 100% analogous to strait unions.
Third, you assume that there are no non-religious arguments in favor of Prop 8, which is false.

Second, 1. It doesn't have to be an innate trait. Religion isn't innate even though it is protected. 2. What is your proof that it isn't? If it's reproduction, then the infertile shouldn't be allowed to marry either.
Third, I'm not suggesting that non-religious people don't hate gays. What I am saying is that they are more easily justified with religious backing rather than just a person's revulsion.

As for your other arguments...
First, religion is specifically protected by the constitution, so your comment about religion is nonsensical.
Second, the concept of innate traits IS INDEED significant when it comes to constitutional law. It's a matter of the Equal Protection and Due Process clauses of the 14th Amendment.
Third, I don't need to prove that it isn't innate. You see, since YOU'RE the one who wants to change the common law definition of marriage, the burden of proof is on you.

For that matter, most people can't tell you the difference between Fascism and Communism other than one was Russian and the other was German (though it was invented by Italians).
