the whole loft is 18 x 8 split in three sections. the 3rd section is only 2 ft wide, where i keep my straw for the floor..

i raced pigeons years ago in the early 60's , i had at one time a flock of 500 homers you had to se them fly amazing , i used to race only my top homers which i breed only for raceing gave them spiecal feed and some other treats made  strong and big .and training and training 1000 miles racings were big back then won several .money prizes were small compared today cash winnings . but your have a really great breed of birds good luck .ask and i will tell you the spiecal treats were

do all young birds have black eyes ? and do they eventually turn red as they get older?

they are all dark when they are babies, then change to other colors when they get older.

some are straight blue demons, some are blue demon crosses, and then some other crosses that i am trying..have a gooden one.
