Not all farms or food industries are like that. My family and I raise hens for eggs to help the enviroment, by that we don't go to drive to the store and back. I've cared about animals since I was a little, but I still eat meat. My fathers friend raises pigs, cows & chickens. She treats them with respect and treats them like family (As I do with my chickens). There may be some farm industries like that in the US, but not all are a like. I respect your choices PETA, you should also respect mine.
we are animals part the family Hominidae consisting of orangutans, gorillas, chimpanzees, and humans(wiki answers)
so seeing as my fellow animals the wolves, tigers, lions, ect wont stop eating meat i have chosen to stick with them at the top of the foodchain and eat meat as well
AHHHHH... ='( i love animals but its very hard to go vegetarian, and i have been eatting meat all my life. i feel bad for them. ;m; y cant people just be kind to the animals, let them live there life and then take them down where they feel no pain, is it that hard to show some respect to the ones who give us life??
but i am glad i dont use fur or anything with animal testing =)
@Saratoris The reason we are mass producing is for our own gain. The first step is to stop this mass producing, then the animals will fall back into the natural life cycle. Please be polite.
@HisAsianAngel7 Faux chicken and dumplings is one of my favorites. Also, vegan mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, steamed veggies, rolls, vegan stuffing etc. I even made a yummy vegan lasagna one Christmas.
I've became a veg. about 5 months ago, i constantly hear how stupid it is to be veg from the people i go to school with, and the fact that my family isn't veg, and every time i get doubt all i have to do is watch one of these videos and know im doing the right thing. thanks PETA you guys rock!
hehehe im glad i didnt go to my aunts house for thanksgiving they would have made me eat turkey. 0_0 i ate a vegetarian burrito instead rofl. =P im so proud to be a vegetarian =]
@PokoRocks1234 They would have made you? Are you 3 yrs old? Good thing you're veg but grow some balls and stick up for what's right, and hopefully next year you'll make them eat tofurky instead.
Eating meat isnt the problem. The cruel conditions of raising and slaughtering are the problem. "Unrepentant meat-eaters" ha! Eating meat in and of itself isnt wrong. Cruelty is very wrong.
No, eating meat isn't the problem if you wish to do so... However, the breeding and slaughtering of these animals is wrong - therefore, if one wishes to do "right" and still eat meat - may I suggest trolling any interstate for some fresh road kill to satisfy your appetite? Go Vegan.
@ShrapnelSong Oh, killing of innocent animals, putting pigs in boiling water while they're still alive, skinning cows while their still wide awake and breathing,
impregnating cows every time they deliver a baby so there will always be milk to go around, then taking the cows baby away. [[very stressful for the mom, and baby]]
Killing animals who feel pain, love, and were perfectly happy LIVING.
@ShrapnelSong How would you feel if from birth you were feed steroids and abused, so that some overweight person in the suburbs could eat you? How would you feel if you and your family were put in the same conditions these animals are in? And could you yourself look into an animal's eyes and abuse or kill it?
I think this video is mainly talking about animals typically eaten during the holiday season. PETA cares about fish, but fish aren't eaten as frequently during the holidays.
hmph... either way they wouldn't get any presents or carols....

Yes, because it's not like we're mass producing livestock just for this purpose. Going vegan would result in overpopulation, you dip-shits.
