@SonicCircuit Thanks. i like GTails because he can fly to places Sonic couldn't reach and his speed, although not as fast as Sonic, is great for cautious gamers. Knuckles' ability to climb walls and glide is awsome, and Amy is good because of her Piko Piko Hammer.

However, the fact that only Classic and Modern Sonic are playable angers me, and there needs to be a line drawn.

How dare you decide to sideline Tails, Knuckles, and Amy and tell us to wait for Mario and Sonic at the London Olympics to play as them?

These three characters helped make the Sonic games fun with their unique gameplay mechanics.

@kmuschel912 Sega crushed itself with its stupidity in the 90's of trying to run Genesis with its two upgrades and Saturn simultaneously. They blew a lot of money on the 32X and CD, but especially the 32X, when the Saturn was right around the corner.

Dreamcast was supposedly the greatest system ever... but by that point the damage was done and they couldn't sustain themselves.

I do wonder what would've happened had they not royally screwed up with Sega Saturn. Maybe there'd be four this gen...

Sega has been putting sonic games on the playstation since 2002 so that Is why it is on the PS3 for the 360 well it is a downloadable game so that means that they put it on their online

as for the wii there are 2 reasons

1.Wii can't handle the Hedgehog engine ( Graphic )

2.Nintendo didn't make it so Sega can do what they want

I'm guessing it's not on the Wii because Nintendo truly relies on Mario, their mascot, and Sega always had a rivalry with Nintendo so it's probably because even though they put some new Sonic games on the Wii since this is the 20th anniversary game they probably don't want it on the RIVAL console. I think this game isnt on the wii because it uses the hedgehog engine like unleashed did and the wii just doesnt have the power to use that. Thats why the wii version was WAY different from the 360 and ps3 versions but hell they put unleashed on the wii so i could be wrong about that. sega's still workin on the game but who knows maybe they'll get dimps to wokr on the wii version like they did with unleashed.

As much as I like Sonic, will other characters be playable? It seems for the majority of the newer games (not all- like Sonic Riders) that you can only play as Sonic :( not that that's terrible but it would be nice to play as Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, etc. too.

@SilverfangX777 Well the thing is, the adventure cast fans loved the voices because it's what they were used to and grew to enjoy. Same with the 4Kids cast. I became a Sonic fan somewhere around the middle, so I originally thought the adventure cast was better, but over time, the 4kids cast grew to be overall better actors. I don't like the new actors, just because it makes the characters sound like completely different people with different personalities.

The new casts is kinda meh, but they did better than 4kids started, they sounded horrible at firsts. One thing I hate is amy's voice, who even made that choice(although she is a good actor). They got some one who mostly plays dark, mature, grown up women to play a cheerful young character like amy. It's kinda retarded

Right now I'm guessing it's just a game with all of Sonic's most famous levels remade in HD with your choice of Sonic, no plot.

It's also a good thing so if it's for a console or two they can put more effort on it like Sonic Colors on the Wii, remember how it turned out good? if you watched gameplay trailer you'll notice that this is actually bigger than what the wii could handle.
