It looks like a great place to eat. I am looking forward to spending some time in Chiang Mai so I am really happy to see the variety of wonderful restaurants available. The first videos I saw about a year ago were something like "Chiang Mai is a great place to live. You can find KFC, Starbucks, Pizza Hut..."--cringe, cringe..I was worried that I would only find American fast food. I am glad that is obviously not true...Anyway, how are the prices at La Fontana. Affordable?
@chronicreader Glad you liked it. The prices are very reasonable from the Menu du Jour to the A la Carte. If you want to find out more about different restaurants in Chiang Mai, Google 'dining guide Chiang Mai' ( I can't post the URL sorry!). When you are here, you can pick up free hard copies of the guide, published every 2 months. It also has a way to get vouchers for substantial discounts ( 30% I think!!). Hope you have a great time when you come here, it's a great place.

Try Girasole as well. It's another one of Stefano's excellent restaurants. It's also in the Old City, but on Rachadamnoen Road near Wawee Coffee.
