i remember this riot and it was a planned event. i lived in white rock at the time and some of friends from high school went down town to join in. this incident was planned it did not matter if we won or lost the people were going to riot either was and robson street was the target area. the fact it got out of control is the vcp's fault for not being properly prepared. i the people in white rock and surrey knew about it days before there is no question the police knew too.

The other one lasted for at least five. On another note, I have always been a Boston fan. Since I was kid even. Canuck fans are just scum. I can't be certain whether the the city of Boston would result with a riot if they lost ( I haven't been there in 5 years), but I doubt it. The recent Celtics riot was minor at best and most of the REAL fans left before it escalated.

Like I've stated previously, this one lasted for like 5 hours. The recent one only lasted around 2 hours. You can't always trust the media.
