I can post a text response on this which is not important? By the fuckin' way i can't respond on cnn anything. Fuck you youtube! this may not get posted because of CHRISTIAN censorship! "christian" means that THEY have power over freedom of speech in America. And they love it. Why? do a supposedly "free" America give iover THE'RE rights over to the CHURCH rather than the STATE?!
Casting a protest vote (blank vote?) signals the lack of popular legitimacy and roots of representative democracy, where as not voting endangers the credibility of the whole voting system. The trouble with the second option, is that so many people don't vote in the USA.
I would definitely have to agree with you julian..MORE people need to go and vote...Problem is there is A LOT OF MISTRUST in the government...and just to think this government always tries to go out and make friends with other countries or in some cases WAR.. but at the same time leave the AMERICAN people without their support...to ENFORCE LAWS and or BORDERS
I think there should be a box that says NONE OF THE ABOVE. What is the lesser of two evils when we KNOW both of the possibilities in our seemingly 2 party system which is really a ONE party system both controlled from the same powers that be. Doesn't matter who they put in office all roads lead to Rome just with a two step instead of a shuffle but all on their way to NWO destruction of the economy martial law type every day life higher taxation on us all less freedoms just you watch no change.
Casting a Blank vote shows that you believe in the electoral system + kind of democratic system you have in your country, but don't support any of the candidates.
Not voting shows your disbelief in the electoral system + kind of democratic system you have in your country.
Voting never brought us any real good. Never, ever, ever.
Some slight goods? Maybe, some lesser of two evils?
Whatever, who cares. Voting just makes a large part of the population feeling good about themselves. BS!
totally agree, donovon. I listened to jesse ventura(like him or not) when he said,"...There should be a(numbered)option; NONE OF THE ABOVE..." when voting.
this guys a fool: he says, whoever gets voted in, you cant blame him (even if it a republican, god forbid he says)....well, if he cares about not getting these people in office he should vote...i hold him responsible for whoever comes out as winner because of, not despite, the fact that he aint voting! Moreover, he says demo. requires participation, and it dont work if you dont participate: how does this justify him not participating again? if he is associated with demnow, they should can him!
hey bucko, participating in your democracy is more than just voting. For example, exposing the Fraud that is our election by not participating in it, IS participating in our Democracy.
bucko, once again:Donovan said we can't hold him reponsible for who gets elected, but that completely wrong: in fact, his abstaining from voting, as Rousseau wrote, means that we hold him responsible for whoever gets elected because his not abvoting implies that he was indifferent to the outcomstenation tacitly endorses the outcome no matter what it is (even if its a Hitler coming to power), we ought to blame him, not because he voted for the , but because he didnt vote against him
I vote mostly because voting is fun! I dont think our votes count, but when people see our bodies at the poll, or see us carrying a sign or posting ones in our window, I supported KUCINICH too, but now Im voting McKinney,I think you should vote and like you said vote your heart and concious
I'm sad that Dennis is out too. But I will vote. Luckily I live in NY state. The single benefit of the electoral college is that I can vote for Nader and not worry about my state going to the republicans. As insulting and frustrating as the system is, I will still participate in order to show them that I am here. By voting for Nader or writing in Kucinich I can register my frustration. I certainly understand why you would want to stay home.
well, hillary did worse than stab a baby - the sanctions imposed by her husband against iraq in the 90s killed over half a million kids below the age of 5. kucinich and gravel were the only decent dems. i would've also liked to vote for elaine brown - she was one of the last chairpersons of the black panthers. as futile as it would've been voting green, it'd be fun voting for a panther
I'm caucusing for Mike Gravel in Washington state I'll more then likely end up in Edwards. After that I'm changing my regestration back to green, I'm a horrible party switcher during presendental election. I call it hegging my bets. So far it hasnt worked.

Thank you. Dennis Kucinich was the only candidate worth voting for in the Democratic Party. I'm still voting for him on Super Tuesday, even if he's out of the race, but in the general election I'm voting for the Green Party candidate. These psuedo-liberals don't understand that the Dems will never move to the left until we hold our vote as leverage. Glad to see you're back.

"democracy" MY ASS!
you feel, you feel.\
doesn't mean shit.
ask everyone who has ever been stopped at some "checkpoint" in the states about what their U>S> identity is... then there is a problem
have YOU ever been stopped for identity?
If so..., what?
That in itself is a violation.
You should look that up.

Goodtimes: I agree with you, however, the "reason" blacks turned on the Republican Party as more and more "Dixie Democrats" crossed the isle.
