I learnt to sing this yesterday.. I have quite a big singing range and tell you what.. this is still bloody hard... But even then.. the guy can't sing it live so .. I guess it's mainly a studio thing anyways.

@debb0r Just fry your vocals for that scream, don't over exert yourself and stop if it hurts. There are different methods to screaming, but that is the safest one.
