1) Doc Octopus was resposible for the death of Captain George Stacy, 2) On the early 70 he was portrayeed as a hi-tech gangster, that side was slowly left out, which i regret. The argument of being Spiderman Greatest foe had some basis, The Green Goblin won that contest by killing Gwen Stacy.

he did suffer(sort of) from brain damage in the movie. during the explosion his inhibitor chip got fried allowing the super advanced tentacles to get into his brain and they controlled and told him what to do. i did my psychology report on this movie and i noticed that he was trying to rationalize but the tentacles were convincing to steal money.

Actually Ock only tried to conquer the world like twice. The rest of schemes are usually city wide threats.

And most of his stories are awesome, IMO. He's very complex, and alot like Peter Parker in many aspects. Alot of Marvel's writers refer to him as the Peter Parker gone bad.

correct me if I'm wrong but the episode where the plane doc ock was in that crashed and he was assumed dead in the amazing spiderman #88, it was never explained how he survived in the next comic. That was about as mindboggling as how he used long-range telepathy for his tentacles miles away to bail him out of jail.

As a life long Doc Ock fan, I commend you on this video, and I proudly add it to my favourites. You certainly know your Octopus.

Ock has always been my favourite Spider-Man villain. I think he is the perfect foil for Spider-Man both physically and mentally. And their backgrounds, their childhoods, are also very similar.
