@enigmarodrigo Look up video "Grooving over an Enigma vamp" here. Gyu soloes over vamp (a loop) from this song. He transposed it 1/2 step lower. His vamp is in A minor, original is Bb minor. Chords like Bb minor and Ab, Gb, Db major should work for the backing track and Bb minor pentationic for the solo stuff. Try experimenting with that and you'll eventually find the right notes... best way IMHO - do it yourself :)

@iEpicFail247 i do belive its the harmonics hold your finger gently over the 12 frett and play like make your finger barely touch the string, you can do it on 5th and like 17th too i think, open for debate on that :P but out of curosity what tuning is this?

@iEpicFail247 The little chink, (all by itself at the riffs pause) if thats what you guys are asking about is done behind the nut at the end of the neck. Both Tremonti and Kennedy do it live together.

Just swipe the 6 strings (with your pick hand) between the nut and the machine heads (tuners) and presto.

The only other sound like that you hear is Zakk Wylde doing it in a Les Paul between the bridge and the saddle slightly different tone and can only be done on Les Paul style bridges.

Tuning is D Standard people, D G C F A D. :) It's not AB's normal tuning, they usually stick around Drop C# and/or Low Bb. A few of their songs are in open tunings aswell (Open Your Eyes, Watch Over You, In Loving Memory)

On this vid I used line6 POD X3 live processor, that alows me to record guitar via USB with a decent quality. No additional processing or plugins.

No secrets, I just love play guitar and I do my best. It's not so hard to set the similar sound as in the original song, you just have to sit a roll some knobs to make it sound similar.
