Usui did everything to bring her out of her shell, and to make her fall in love with him. He was the pursuer in every situation. @starfire1922 I'm glad that there wasn't really any thought about it in Misaki's mind, actually. In fact, she always seems surprised that guys find her attractive, which is definitely something that most heroines don't go through. Take Kagome from InuYasha, for example. Everyone chases after her and she totally knows that it's happening. One love triangle--like Hinata/Misaki/Usui--would be fine, but having too many love interests takes from the show itself.
