Boxers can't be MMA fighters one reason Their use to standing up it's like it's brainwashed into them, but a MMA fighter can become more well rounded with boxing I studented Traditional Muay Thai and became a MMA fighter with no problems it was easy to me, but boxing to MMA I don't know about that one I guess I would have to fight a boxer to really see. Kimbo for example standup guy you take him to the ground and it's over before it started.

I know that mixing hip-hop and MMA is a toral shit. In Poland we have Popek Rak; ex-convict, steroid freak, and a hip-hop artist turned MMA. When he lost his last fight, his "hip-hop gangsta entourage" demolished the entire arena. Some say what Melvin Manhoef was injured by one of those wankers during that brawl.

Hip-hop should get the fuck out of any sport.

The B.E.T show Iron ring was a good show despite the negative feedback from alot of viewers. There were alot of great MMA coaches that were featured on the show but took a beackseat to T.I and floyd mayweathers cocky attitudes. T.I act as if he was a veteran coach that had beaten Brock, Kimbo slice, and Bas rutten all in one match, single handedly. And flyod kept talking about moneyand flashing jewels as if he was Bill gates or something. Other then that however, it was a pretty decent show.

From what I saw of it the fighting seemed to take a backseat to the rappers and it seemed from what I know of most of the trianers where tradtional martial artist all exclusding shonie and crazy horse.

And the white guys they picked in that show seemed to be there to make white people look bad like the fat bible basher and the guy who didnt make it on the wrestling team (who turned out to be really good so jokes on them)

You know B.E.T was smart. They really could have used fighters like rampage jackson, rashad evans, and even kimbo slice as team coaches. They are respected and well known in MMA as well as in the hip hop community. Probaly could have saved money also, as I know for certain that being as cocky and conceited as those rappers are. They required a hefty fee for their appearence on the show.

I think they should of saved money on the celebritys and spent more on the trianers and focused more on the fighting....
