@MegaSt81 when a pursuer approach you, maybe 20 metres away you hear whispers in the background behind the music

just like ghostly sssss sounds

next you look for who is approaching with maybe a wobbled walk or by themselves and anticipate how NPC's walk compared to player (wobbled walk, shortcutting across roofs or fountains...

soon you get a feel for someone suspicious and following directly behind you

use abilities (smoke, mute) stun them in the face with B (xbox) or O (ps3)

There are whispers so you can tell when your pursuer(s) are near. Also If you are observant enough you can tell when some isn't walking the path of a normal NPC.

@BenMikeZeke1127 the ability to change form is useful because when you are being chased when yo break your pursuers line of sight you can change and stun them wen they come running. Also to create a copy of yourself ability is good too because it will go running about and your pursuer could see the copy and kill that instead of you. And the smoke bomb as it dazes targets or pursuers for an easy kill or stun. :)
