It's like scratching nails on chalkboards, as if she's been gargling iron nails, or is at least 60 years older than she should be. Sure the japanese voice sounds whiny, but that's her role, annoying whiny girl charecter, also the older sounding Dante for the japanese is better in my opinion.

I think both versions of the DMC anime are good. the english is good because they have the voices from the games, but they mut the gunshots. Ebony and Ivory are badass demon guns, and they should roar like badass demon guns.

The anime was pretty good but I think it could be better... No offence.

I've watched all episodes and there's no story line. The episodes are really random and the action is not so awesome like in the game. Dante most of the time uses his pistol and only swings one time his blade and bam! the battle is finished. In the game, the battle with the blade is awesome and every second played is never wasted. 7/10 for the anime.Really good.If there were more episodes, I would watch cuz I'm Dante's fan.

@Rocketai It goes so fast because the game can last a while because it isnt restricted to a half hour time frame. And if it extended that into multiple episodes for one section of a story line it would end up like the DBZ anime and no one would like it. So they keep it short. It's random because it's him taking different jobs instead of just one main focus like in the games. And this is qualified as an OVA series, hence why it's so short. If you want more on it read the Manga they are amazing

But DBZ is awesome! In my opnion it's one of the best animes I've ever watched. But that's why I think that DMC-Anime should have a story line since it's a short anime. It's too random... It could at least have some sort of connection with the games. Or, like I said, put more action in it. The animation is great, all characters are all well designed but it's very poor in action. DMC is cool and attractive because of the fights, and the anime with fights like in the game would be awesome

@Rocketai DBZ the Manga was great, but the anime itself had to many filler episodes. And they really were beating the horse when they did the Buu Saga as well as GT. I mean dont get me wrong the Freeza saga was amazing and the episode with future Trunks rocked as the Android saga began because it brought back the Red Ribbon Army Androids from DragonBall. But Dragon Ball Z Kai is redeeming DBZ by cutting out all the useless filler episodes that had only talking and snappy comebacks.

I agree with you. The Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z were cool but the others were... strange. I don't like the GT and Kai. Never read the manga. But of course, every one says that the manga is better then the anime. Same with a book or a game. It's always better then the movie.

He never even had to put up a fight in a single episode, no drama, no conflict, no dichotomy, very little cohesiveness i.e. none of the parts of a good anime or any show for that matter. The animation was great and the styling broke a lot of the traditional molds, its the storyline that could have made this one of the best.
