real elderly people in america are dangerous with guns. i saw an epsiode of cops and an old lady was firing random pop shots cos she hurd rustling in her bushes and it was a couple of little chidren fetchign their ball and she did the same when she herd noises and it was the police. Little kids will continue to die in america because of people with guns who are not well trained enough to use them. most people in america do not have skills like the military with their guns

@210482fmj That has truth to it, as do many things.. Fear will make humans do many thing without thinking, it is are human nature to kill what we fear. But I don't let a few bad reports stop me doing what I love. BTW I have read news stories like that in many other countries involving gun related violence. The USA is not perfect many of us america's will say the same. So to jump on the "We hate america's" band wagon with a line about guns is a very ignorant move.

@zazalepj I think one big thing they need to do in the U.S. is make a mandatory class before you own a firearm. Just showing the basics, safety and cleaning.

After that, it's poverty rates that are responsible for most gun violence. If you're in a position where your basic needs aren't met, then that's going to make a crime an option. Especially when you grow up in a povertous area and crime happens all the time. It makes that option easier and more normal to revert to.
