the reloading is just like the arcade original, giving it a 1 is like giving dragons lair a 1. You shouldn't even speak on things you don't understand. The reviewer is probably just too young to understand the nastalgia of of the game and what it was like the first time you seen it in the arcade. it was cutting edge technology for it's time.

if you just read the instruction manuel it tells you how to reload .this is how you reloaded when the game was in the arcades you press the a or b button of screen simple. also about the gun sound effects they come out of the remote,plus it is a lot easier to play with the zapper.Anyway the game is as good as i remeber it being in the arcades and i'am glad i have it .

I was initially put off this game because I was like "retarded reloading" and "no gun sound when you shoot" but it seems the reviewer is in the wrong here.

I mean I suppose he isn't completely to blame because consoles are so bloody confusing these days to set up properly and the settings and controls on Wii games can often be confusing and hard to find etc, but still...

If he's going to do reviews in the first place he really be more professional and check all these things first, no.

Shooting off screen is perfectly fine, and how it's been done in nearly every arcade gun shooter since time began, so I'll just chalk this up to him being a bit of a tool.

It works fine in Medal of Honor Heroes 2 where you just flick upwards, basically pointing off the top of the screen, but a button or a shot off screen will always be better, faster and more responsive than a stupid waggle imo.

I feel that the bottom line for this review is make reloading better for these old games, period. Just because they loaded a certain way in the past doesn't mean that's the right way. Personally, I think these games get a bad rap due to the fact that most gamers are not western enthusiast. I don't like the Mad Dog series, but because Last Bounty Hunter was filmed completely at Old Tucson Studios I love it! But I think I would still be frustrated with it...

Yeah, the reloading thing was a bit stupid, man. Just about every light gun game in existance gets you to reload by shooting offscreen.

Hell, even the PC port of Mad Dog worked this way. You moved the mouse outside the video window and left-clicked.

Dude, next time you do a review know your stuff before you review it. Reloading is done by shooting offscreen and this is THE best way to reload in these kind of shooting games. Also, gunshot sounds emerge from your Wiimote speaker which makes this extra cool since it's like your holding a real gun. Only bad part about the game (and every other shooting game in that aspect) is that the infrared pointing technique of the Wiimote isn't as far as good as a dedicated lightgun.

1- As others have noted, to re-load, you shoot off-screen. Not exactly natural, but it works, certainly not something I'd mark the game down for. House of the Dead 2&3 worked this way as well.

2 - Your gun does have sound effects. They come from the speaker on the Wiimote.

3 - The visuals seemed A-OK to me. Picture was crisp and clear and I had no trouble making out any of the UI elements.

4 - The over-acting is hilarious, it's the whole selling point to this kind of game.
