  • I have a full size SR9 and love it. It's a great piece for the money and fun to shoot.

  • Isn't this the gun that bit Hickok45 during a reload?

  • @Vernonu9 Close, I think his was the SR40c, but same dimensions. That extender sleeve bit me a few times.

  • @martinitime1975

Also, I wouldn't try pulling the trigger w/o the mag in it will wear and tear up your firing pin and other internal parts. There is also a video on taking the magazine disconnect out which I thought was a chance to identify the parts of my gun a little better. It would be on the full size sr9 but they are basically the same gun with same parts just different size

  • @martinitime1975

you're not joking on the amount of force it takes to pull the slide back but they say to put excess rounds in and it will loosen up. Also there's a youtube video about polishing the barrel this will help with the feed ramp so you won't feel that bump when the bullet goes in the chamber

  • I'm going to purchase this gun for my wife. Sweet gun.

  • @Mikie6794 Yeah, my wife has the full size, and it's like Excalibur to her.

  • dude, you have a nice backyard - i like it very much! only you should paint the fence... white would be beautiful !!!

  • @zulfik95 Ha! I must have used my "kick ass back yard" post filter on this video. I have two large dogs, and my backyard actually looks pretty crappy. The fence does probably need to be stained, but the HOA wouldn't let me paint it white.

  • @zulfik95 Quit being a psycho.LOL

  • nice review the sr's are sweet

  • I like the SR9C because it's trigger pull weight is about 1lb heavier than the Glocks but that damn safety lever can easily brush against your holster and disable your trigger... God forbid in the middle of a defensive situation.

Then, i would have to do what my grandpa did. It's a family secret...

  • @kakasanti Maybe it's just me, but I think the trigger is lighter than my Glock, but it's also smoother so maybe that's why it feels lighter. I never have problems with the safety lever when drawing, it's a very clicky safety and stays where I leave it.

  • what camera are you using?

  • @ProjektSol Kodak Zi8 with manual macro switch, and a cheap Olympus external clip on mocrophone

  • If you dont mind, what camera did you use?, cause this video is a beauty!

  • @salvationbychrist I use a Kodak Zi8, it has a manual macro feature (hence the clicking noise on closeup).

  • Gun pr0ns!

  • @FireArmsResQ And there's more to cum! Going to be doing a whole series of gratuitous close up shots, inside and out, of all my guns. No DP's though, they cause jams..

  • Yeah, I saw that extended clip bite-the-hand-that-fed-it on Hickok45's review.

  • Oooo gun porn :) I like these it's fun to just relax and look at guns even though I have the damn freeking gun in stainless. If you do a hi point vid would that be the gun porn equivalent of BBW porn? Just sayin...

  • @mrwhite4 HA! Good point. Nothing wrong with BBW...

  • @martinitime1975 I'm with ya there man I'd rather be with a chunky ass woman who treats ya right and is fun to be around, who loves guns then oh... I dunno... a fucking bitch. It's like is sigs are high dollar Swiss and German girls, I guess your Taurus would be a nice tall dark Brazilian chick, rugers would be feisty Arizona rancher daughters, then hi points would be like the chunky corn fed girls next door from Ohio :)

  • @mrwhite4 "Will fuck for cheese"

  • If the slide stop was also a slide release and ambi, my sr9c would be THE perfect carry gun.

  • @sixgunnernick I use mine as a slide release, even though I'm not supposed to. But it takes a while before it will function that way.

  • nice...great vid

  • Love my SR9c - Great trigger, sights, and grip. Words of advice - I removed my magazine disconnect and reversed the grip insert. Maybe that grip fits you well but on mine, the flat piece left too much air in my palm. After shooting mine for about 2000+ rounds, the recoil spring is still somewhat stiff but it is much much smoother. Shoot the hell out of it and I bet you it will loosen up. Great video and happy shooting!
