@puisihatiku Only snacks are offered on domestic flights such as Manila-Cebu, specifically coffee/tea, and combinations of peanuts and cookies if not cup cakes. Meals are served on domestic flights if you are flying on Mabuhay class. Thank you for watching! :-)

@chubu09 Well, if there's one thing I learned in making travel vids, it's "Wag kang mauunahan ng takot" and "Hindi ka nila maaalala after mo magtanong o magvideo sa harap ng mga tao". What's to be shy about? If you want something, it won't hurt to ask. Magazines are complimentary and FA's would be glad to give u a copy or two. They cant read your mind that u want one so let them know. Ok lang yon. Dont be afraid if they say no. Eh di try uli sa ibang FA. Baka mas ok pa yung iba kung sakali. :-)

@chubu09 Nako meron! Hahaha! Usually sa American carriers marami. From experience, parang utang na loob mo pang sumakay sa kanila, kaya I opt for Asian carriers like Korean Air and PAL. Still, meron din mga FA's na parang wala sa mood. Pero most of the time, the FA's I encounter are very accommodating naman. Depends na rin siguro sa pag approach mo sa kanila.

@chukkoi Sobra ngang susungit ng FAs from American carriers. Lalo na United Airways, kung pandilatan ako ng FA kapag nag-aakyat ako ng bag sa compartments kasi nasstop ung flow. Tapos hindi rin accommodating ang FAs ng mga lowcost airlines, like SEAIR. Well, I've never tried being in such Airlines for long flights. I always book in Asiana Airlines. Food is great. FAs are so friendly. Though, the problem is ung mga Koreano, kahilig magCR, kumakatok pa kapag matagal ka. LOL

I didn't know PAL still have First Class, thought they scrapped it ages back. I think the crew got it wrong, should be the Mabuhay Biz Class.

@chukkoi all have been refurbished, but the RP-C 8168 wasn't reconfigured like the rest. It still doesn't have PTVs for the fiesta class, and the business class seats were fixed, but not Recaro seats like the rest of the other 744s. That plane is leased from Air Canada.

@chukkoi There used to be first class until the 744 got a cabin reconfiguration. All 744s including RP-C8168 are bi-class (J and Y), economy and business. Except RP-C8168 does not use lie-flat Recaro seats at J and has no individual IFEs at Y.

@astoniz Oh... here's a trivia. As a nurse, I keep a swiss knife handy in my backpack kasi I use it sometimes during my duties. That day, I came from night shift and left for the airport after a quick shower at home and went straight to the airport. I forgot all about the swiss knife in my backpack so I had to walk back to the parking lot to leave it sa motor ko. I shot the opening vid on the way to the parking lot, passing by the international terminal. :-)

@astoniz Parking sa harap ng NAIA 2 is only P35 per day... so that's way better than going to Park N Fly, unless sa ibang terminal ka. Anyway, I didnt go for overnight kasi same day return trip naman ako so still P35 lang parking fee ko. I left at 9am, returned at 10pm in the evening.

@11Sqd3 Mainly for business. I bring stuffs to Manila from Cebu. It's a sideline that I do where I get to mix business, vacation, and air travel. Hospital duty in one shift, off to the airport the next. Typical gemini.

That's what keeps PAL ahead of Cebu Pacific, Zest Air, and even its own Airphil Express...the use of 747-400 on their largest/busiest domestic routes. Is it still ok to fly PAL considering their labor woes?
