If one is secure in their religious beliefs, they have no need to "prove" anything to the world. Possibly this is what is going on with Mary Mary and so they decided to make a positive song that is inspiring to all people. What's wrong with that? Regardless of our religious beliefs or lack thereof, we are all humans at the end of the day.
