Originally released in July 1942. Kent Rogers, a great vocal impressionist who was later killed in action during World War II, does a Red Skelton "Junior" voice for the "Woodpecker", and the "Mortimer Snerd" impression for the dog {Kent also used it for "Beaky Buzzard" in Clampett's "Bugs Bunny Gets the Boid", released the same month}.

Usually Clampett's stuff was funny but this film is really lame!

It's right up there with Norm Mcabe's "Tokio Jokio" and "Ducktators", not funny or clever in any way shape or form. Just tedious and dull.
