Oh gosh, I had a monitor for a whole month. It was really embarassing being a freshman in high school and walking into a room and being called a suicide bomber.
I just got put on a heart moniter last week. I went to the er for low bloodsugar and the nurse noticed that I had low heart rate. My heart rate was in the low thirties. The doctor said that the lower part of my heart isn't pumping right and that I have an abnormal heart beat. There are a lot things that I can't do and I'm on a 3000 mg sodium diet for my heart. I have to wear the moniter for 30 days which is by eCardio. The moniter is no bigger then my cell phone.
@anniebecker30 Oh wow. I'm glad the nurse noticed how long your heart rate was. Yikes, no wonder you didn't feel well. I hope you are feeling better now, and I hope the heart monitor gives you some answers. Keep me updated!
ahhh laura i hate the scratchy sand paper stuff! haha. it's funny cause that's exactly what it looks/feels like..sand paper! but i hope the monitor brings some answers for you! And the christmas tree is lovely :)
@radlikemad yes so scratchy! left a rash that is still there, btw. and thank you! we have two in our house right now, and my mom just bought a little one for me to put in my room lol I looove christmas trees!
i just woke and was dreaming of me being infront of a christmas tree taking a photo.. lol. I had no idea they told you you have a neuro heart disorder!! Laura, you need be tested for a connective tissue disorder.
@GustaMapache that's because you are incredibly psychic! (and we are with each other) yes, yes that is what they are saying now..I know, and I feel like since you're so freakin psychic you're prob right-but who would test me for that, my rheumatologist? I feel like they would treat it just like they treat my RA though, right?
@lauranne2585 yes a rheumy. I don't know how they treat it, but it's something you should know anyhow, you know?. I saw a photo of you yesterday that FB 'suggested' I look at and saw you have hyper extendible legs too (the ones that bend back). do they think EDS?. Not with sounding pushy or anything, but you should do a vid on your conditions.. explaining what you have. & then ps- I have a request... house tour? :-D. do you have an on suite bathroom in your room?
@GustaMapache yes its def something thats important to know. my goodness. so many dr's, so many tests. and LOL what photo was this haha I laughed at that, thinking oh gosh what must I be doing in that photo. yes I am super flexible, I always thought it was bc I used to figure skate, but since this dysautonomia thing started I have now been hearing about hypermobility, EDS, etc. EDS hasn't been mentioned to me yet..I know that has something to do with collagen, and I dont have the "stretchy"...
Respond to this video...skin that is one of the symptoms, although I dont know if thats required for diagnosis. since the dysautonomia diagnosis, I feel like I am spinning-so many new possible illnesses are coming about. ahhh. I am sure when I see the specialist next week he will mention it because I have to fill out a questionaire. if not, maybe I'll mention it. I wonder what the treatment is, and if its successful. and yes, I will explain my conditions, you arent being pushy..
Respond to this video...other people have been asking me to do the same. it's hard to talk about it all, but I think it will be good for me and hopefully will help others. annndd yes my dear, I can do a house tour haha-will have to clean my room for it! Wish you could have seen my apartment with dave-I'm not at my parents house. and I wish I had a bathroom in my room! I don't here-hopefully one day : ) one that is lovely and relaxing xxx
@GustaMapache now I'm confused where to respond lol. but I think we left off at me living at home. I lived with dave for a year (aug 09-aug 10) and moved back home when I had the bad mono/we decided to not renew the lease, he's not looking for a condo or house. so, yes, back with mom and dad. sigh. lol
@lauranne2585 I don't have the stretch skin either. so it makes me doubt it. but I will look into it after pregnancy. I got the crazy bendy fingers. sorry I didn't understand, you mention you're not at your parents but you sound like you're not in an apartment anymore with Dave either? where are you?! lol! I had no idea you lived with Dave..when when. I just wrote you on FB... really really long. take your time busy Mandarin! xo

also, showering usually causes more problems than it solves, so that may actually be a good thing.
