  • YOU'LL SHOOT YOUR EYE OUT!

  • it's DC Powering the radio that plays AC radio waves right? Radio Waves already in the air, just need to tap into the right frequency to hear it, right? Reverse it. Collect the AC everywhere that does exist in our atmosphere (more than just radio waves) via the antena / vacumm, coil tube to charge the source providing the DC energy that powers the electric car or electric outlets in your home, etc. Hook it up to an outlet, plug in your phone charger and see if you can charge your phone.

  • @MopDMTBARTL the energy density of background radio waves isn't really enough to be practical for using as an alternate source... you'd have to be able to absorb radiation through a large area, over a large bandwidth in order to absorb enough energy to really use.. if it was as simple as you assume it to be, surely it would have been in use a long time ago.

  • @tannersword1 - not true, i've cured cancer with marijuana before and that is still illegal. heck, that substance is healthier than any processed foods with refined sugar. Most foods are drugs and are more dangerous. I can understand CLEARLY how this stuff is suppressed. The only way to know is to start manufacturing this & find out for myself since we never get staight answers around here

  • @MopDMTBARTL okay, be my guest. you sound like a smart guy, i'm sure you can pull it off. just make sure you have enough of your marijuana because you'll need a lot of it.

  • @tannersword1 - lol remarks like that tell a lot about a person. you are either asleep or support / defend the establishment (new world order). good day.

  • @MopDMTBARTL yep.

  • very nice

  • just curios what would make this curcuit not oscilate?

  • you got it :)

  • lol is youre topload a heatsink?

  • 40000 viewer

  • i have a pl504 vttc but i want to do something with py88 to connect them together or something can someone help me please?!!!

  • very nice... ever try powering a big one with a small coffe grinder motor 3 AA battereys and 2 wires?

  • no i haven't...

  • @tannersword1 well dont it dosent do so good

  • 811 is good tube. My friend used it in his amp, he used 811 and 6Z4 (6AC7) with transformer 1:1 30H. His girlfriend was shoked. She like jazz and tube sound.

  • 811a

mmm pretty sure it has more to do with the voltage than the type of vacuum tube...

  • you mean mot? yes it is

  • it is powered by a mod???!?

  • ummmm i guess that makes sense that it would emit some xrays... but the voltage across the vacuum tube was only a few thousand volts so i wouldn't expect a dangerous amount of radiation.. i could be wrong.

  • Generally speaking you have to get to about 10KV before there are any issues with Xray generation.

  • What vacuum tube are you using? I can tell you if it will emit a dangerous ammount of radiation.

  • it generates low energy x rays that cant penetrate glass envelope

  • I've been working on building a silent tesla coil but I've heard that there's xray emissions problems with vacuum tubes. Do you know how much radiation is coming from your tube, or is it shielded?

  • naahh i think the tube was doin alright but the reason i had no streamers was because of the primary capacitors i was using. my later videos showed the performance with it all better tuned. how've you been lately anyway, jacob?

  • I just realized, tan, you were cooking that tube.

    And you had no streamers.

If you make another tube one try a small topload, or a nail sharpened to a point

  • kewl! that was a very silent tesla coil. this video convinced me to use vacuum tubes instead of spark gaps. do u have any tips/links i kuld use to research them? im new to vacuum tubes

  • to prefend your cam is going to do stupid,

    wrap it i alminium foil.

i garandee that it works ;P

  • BUT HOW WILL THE LIGHT GET IN IF THERES FOIL IN FRONT OF THE LENS?!?!?

    j/k :D

  • not where you capture with XD

srry that i did not say that.

  • no, i don't think i'll get more energy out of it than i put it. i don't know if you understand how they work, but there is no ZPE involved.

  • cool, try to puls the big coil with dc and then take energy out from the small one like back emf pulse with bigger current from the warkum of zero point energy.?

  • Very very cool, but I'm a little confused about a couple of things: 1.) Where is the high voltage output? Is it at the "heat sink" at the top of the coil, which would then really just being used as a top load and not as a heat sink. 2.) What is the arc at the bottom of the coil you mention? You have no spark gap, so I would think any HV arc would be from the top of the coil. So I'm a bit confused, but very cool. Lots of power to light the tubes and mess up the camera!

  • that seems to be putting way more power out than a spark gap, yet there is like no arcs.

amazing, when i make mine i gotta use a vacuum tube. oh yeah, how should i go about getting one? and look at my vids to see if my power supply will be good enough.

  • Nice to use an old heat-sink for the surface area... Might try that, i too think floureselce is cooler than just arcs.

Planning to build a rotary gap on my coil, any tips on that? I got a good variable rotating modeldrill thats used for engraving and stuff, it goes from 5.000 RPM to 30.000 RPM and should be a good way to tune the frequency.

Im also using a MOT, but do you have your cap connected to one end at the ground, as per originally in the oven, or between the two taps directly?

  • hey thanks for the comment.

i haven't ever used a rotary spark gap in any of my coils. infact i don't have much experience with spark gap coils so i couldnt give you any helpful tips there. but anyway, does that motor come with some way to control the speed? or do you plan to make your own?? you're right, that would be a convenient way to tune the discharge :D...

there is a cap connected in parallel with the pri coil. one end of the coil is connected to the plate(tube)and the other, the trans

  • The motor is from an engraving-drill that, as i said, comes with a speed-adjuster from 5.000-30.000 RPM. Sorry if the character count made it unclear:)

I just sudied the schematic for the microwave (found it glued at the inside of the cover, lucky me...) and i messed up about the cap placement, never mind that question.

Joust found an ideal plastic tube for the secondary, winding as we speak. Probably will be a while untill you see some results, my schoolwork is killing me.

  • nice your making the coil correctly. in teslas last wiresless energy patent, he tells of a large surface area on top so no sparks are lost to the air. very good job. the sparking tesla coils are cool, but are not efficient compared to the real wireless energy ones tesla perfected, they would be quite as well.

  • the clicking stops if you set the focus method to manual (if you can)!

  • thanks! that clicking is so freakin annoying

  • so w8, what u built basicaly sent out "remote power"!?!? dude...

  • lol Nikoli Tesla was the original designer and maker of the tesla coil, and the remote power is an electrical feild surrouunding the coils, the bigger the coils, the farther the power

  • Good job! I'm glad to see that long fluorescent bulbs light up that much, 'cause I have about 7 I'm going to put around my first TC (just finished the 'planning stage').

Are you recording with a Minolta camera? I have one, and it makes that same background clicking sound.

  • why are those neon glowing? crazy

  • Very powerful electromagnetic fields causes the flourescent lights to illuminate. The phosphor coating inside the tube is conductive enough so that a strong enough EM radiation will energize the phosphors, converting radio to light.
