  • Amazing.

  • is it possoble to get an alien intake for an LT1 engine? i have an LT1 and im interested in this intake.

  • U are the master my friend

  • i wonder if a variable speed fuel pump would be better than a fuel regulator , ,, might be cheaper and easier to trouble shoot , and just be less complicated ,,, very nice work ,, just wondered ,,, a variable speed pump may not respond fast enough ,,

  • How much does it cost?

  • hey great video and thanks

  • This is just beautiful. The engineering and how clean it is amazes me no doubt about it. Very good job guys, I wish I could afford one just to sit in my office to look at all day!!

  • Awesome intake design!

  • were can u buy 1 and for how much????

  • @gnikishin probably from Nelson Racing....

  • I agree, I would love to see some machining being done on one of the parts. Am I right in thinking that aluminum has no grain, in the sense that it is equally strong in every direction when machining? I know that cast iron and forged iron has a crystalline structure which limits its usefulness for machining.

Also, no problems with different thermal expansion coefficients when combining this intake manifold with an iron block? Or are all compatible blocks made of aluminum?

  • Nice work. You should post some of the machining videos.

  • casting this in aluminum then machining ports, etc would bring cost way down for this. blasting, polishing can all be done to make it shiney

  • I'll bet that manifold cost more that the top end in my motor...

    Ah, to have money.

Very compact and efficient. Engineers both foreign and domestic could learn something from this video.

  • can you buy it off your website and how much dose it cost?

  • That is art

  • "Drastically makes it bitchin'"

    I love that phrase..

The intake system is sick nasty though.

Any plans to release these for some smaller motors?

More exactly the 2005 5.4 from Ford?

  • do you sell plans/drawings? or should I start goin crazy with solidworks?

  • Tom,

Thanks for taking the time to show us some of the ins and outs of your amazing units. Keep up the great work!

  • will that fit a 502 ho create motor

  • nelson one of the few men who is just a true v8 builder

  • why do you not deburr your parts?

  • I work at a CNC machine shop, I love the parts that come out of that thing, there awesome looking.

  • Wooooww. This kind of modification just wasn't possible the way it is now. You couldn't just buy this kind of magnificent stuff. Top work there.

  • How much for one to fit my 454 gen 5 Mercruiser in my jet boat?

  • Awesome inovation!! Yeah!!

  • hum..... this would be nice on my GM crate motor. maybe in a year....

  • That's amazing! Awesome work!

  • u need to design like a billet aliens head for the front of the intake

  • That is awesome stuff Tom! I'm currently building a twin turbo small block Chrysler myself and have stumbled on the many issues involved in locating things to make it all fit and still look good when you lift the hood. An intake like this would be very welcome, but I guess, like so many trick parts, it will probably never arrive for a small Chrysler.

Also have a '67 Camaro waiting for an engine. Maybe a BBC isn't such a bad idea for it......

Keep the good stuff coming Tom!

  • Tom Aint Playn !!! amazing Tom Thanks for sharing it with us man Thanks simply a masterpiece intake

  • One of the coolest things i have ever seen. Great vid. Im sure its not cheap but in my eyes it is totally worth it. Good work Tom.

  • Thank you Tom I can't believe how much work you have into the design but its a beauityful piece of equiptment and the best part its functional. Keep up the good work and ill keep watching and wishing

  • all the air is lined up good, making this beast a torque monster. any plans for a small block chevy version? you should do a weight comparison between the billet blocks and the final weight and share with us. 10 years as a cnc mill operator/programmer, i can appreciate all the time in one of these intakes. you guys use mastercam? need any experienced tool and die makers?

  • damnit you guys at NRE do some awesome work! That dual fuel pressure plate was some trick shit I liked that alot!. That manifold is simply amazing, it looks great and it seems to performe very well! I like alot!
