This is one of the only times where I felt a little disappointed by this game, I mean it was a really fun fight, and I had a blast trying to figure out what to do (I especially loved the first time I tried calling Otacon for help and all he said was "MAKE HIM PAY, SNAKE!"). What I was disappointed in was the fact that I thought it would be so much more bad ass if the boss fight music was Yell Dead Cell.

The fastest way to defeat Vamp: Equip the syringe, ur gonna need it to stop him from regenerating. Then equip the ray gun you got from crying wolf. Hold down L1 til it's charged all the way to level three. Wait til he's on the ground and close by so you can get to him after hand, the shoot him. All it takes is 1 good shot with the ray gun and he's down for the count. then go behind him hold down R1 and inject him. faster than how you did it

@etguitar18 when he's on the floor and getting up again wait till he rolls his head then grab him from behind with R1 and make sure you have operator/knife/nothing weilded in weapons. Then you've got him :)

@XxD1EAN0TH3RD4YxX k thx man..I'm gonna get around to playing MGS4 and beating this guy sometime soon...the only thing is that MGS4 never really grabbed me as much as other ppl said it would. I've had it for more than 6 months and i havnt finished it yet. Call me shameful, i dont care...Truth is, Uncharted 2 is 10 times better :P

@etguitar18 Well, their 2 totally diffrent game genres, right? Uncharted 2 is much more action and shooting than it is more tactical. My 360 players hate MGS games because their "too slow and the story is too complicated." So diffrent opinions, but the one thing i do wish MGS did have more was more fast paced action parts with better 3rd person shooting, like UC2 or GOW.

Besides the syringing part this fight is really easy. I think its because I already know how to fight vamp.  For example i didnt know the best way to fight crying wolf. And a big wolf running around is kind of unsettling.

I hate admitting this, but I totally used this video to figure out to use the syringe hahaha. Looking back on it, it seems obvious, as all the instructions for knifing someone while you're holding them told you it was possible to use your syringe if equipped. When you think about it, who the hell else would you use your syringe on?

ok lets make it very basic not to complicated to kill this fucker what you do;

1. Finish his life gauge until he is down try using a machine gun or shot gun (tip: aim for the head)

2. When he is down dont let the fucker get back up which you have to make sure he dosent regenarate again cause if he does you cant kill him even if you have more than 10 tries.

3. when he gets up go behind him facing his back.

4. Then equip the (syringe)

5. Then press triangle when the icon comes up.
