great video response PC. The Geerup has blocked me twice from comments on his videos. In both cases it was simply for my challenges to, and critical analysis of his irrational harum scarum remarks.
I know this is not revelant anymore (probably), although for me, freedom of writing and speech is always relevant, I made a video of what Karl Marx says about censorship.
I think this video is very important, glad it has a lot of views. Very well pointed out, the hypocracy of Geerup, not defending dprjones, not condemning VFX's actions, but then asking for help himself.

Well, Geerup asked for others to defend his right to free speech, and they rallied to his aid despite his (and his peers) constant opposition to non-Christians right to free speech.
I said pretty much exactly what you said in my own response to this situation, though you did a better job of it I think. It's funny that Geerup reaches out to atheists for help with this rather than his fellow christians. It's also funny that he didn't think to just pray for all of this to go away.

Phantom guy, have you ever considered that even though GEERUP was a guest on VFX's channel, VFX still ran that channel. GEERUP didn't remove your comments, GEERUP actually asked VFX to be more open in his comments section, but VFX had a standard that he wanted to keep on his channel and that was his right and freedom to do so.
By the way DPRjones saying in his latest video that GEERUP blocked him from his channel is a lie.
A great man once said, or certainly impiled and said something along the same lines, that if you will not lay down your life for freedom then you deserve neither.
He was one of ther founding fathers of your country that stood up to the rulers of mine.
If you and geerup hold by the ideals of that man as you say you do then then why was Geerup, and you for that matter, silent when Shawn targeted DMCAs at people on youtube in January censoring their rights as some is censoring Geerups?
are you sure you want to accuse a lawyer of lying, remember DRPjones takes his reputation seriously, make sure you have evidence to support your claims because he has evidence to support his.
@sablechicken I think we'd have more sympathy for Geerup suffering a DMCA if it wasn't a cheap publicity stunt he pulled and an attempt by him to gain more legitimacy. Really maam, it was a spectacularly transparent ploy and makes a mockery of that "thou shalt not lie" deal Christians are supposed to be following.

I just got 2 more videos false DMCAed in last night's troll attack my CluckenChicken channel too. You can't find out who is doing the DMCAing, they can falsely file DMCA's in any name they want to use as. If you counter file YouTube just gives your information to the false DMCAer...it's called identity theft.

As an atheist I am more than familiar with DMCA policies and legislation due to the vast majority being directed at atheists. You should respond to them the way others do...it is perjury to file a DMCA if you don't own the copyright. So if you have been falsly DMCA'd, then lock 'n' load and go get 'em. Who has Geerup blocked? I've read many negative comments towards him which are still up on his videos; he's made no effort to file DMCA claims against people using his material. People seem to confuse user with youtube-wide based censorship. It's 1 thing for individual users to censor comments or block users; the latter can still post their own content. It's another to take action which gets legal content and channels deleted.
I could not give two hoots if Geerup bans me, he has every right just as I have to ban you for your difference of opinion.
My argument is that when geerup is attacked they are criminals and it is attacking his rights to free speech.
When his close friend Shawn went on a DMCA rampage he sat idly by and did and said nothing to condem his friend when he did it was to condem the victims, the same very people whos help he now begs for.

Maybe the reason he blocked some people was because they had strong points against him. And rather than deal with them civil mannered, he deleted all memory of the conversation.

My issue was that Geerup was silent through the whole VFX saga in January when he had the unique position of influencing shawn.

I would be glad to assist anyone and support anyone who has been served with False DMCAs regardless of faith.
As I said Geerup was in a unique position during the VFX debarcle and did nothing at all to assist anyone.
He has been silent on DMCA abuse despite Pino's constant appeals directly to him up to the point that he is DMCA'd

I suspect that Geerup had a very unchristian ulterior motive for urging that PCS fight back and martyr himself in the courtroom.
i found it suspicious back then that Geerup seemed more annoyed that PCS1 decided to delete the VFX channel....rather than hand it back to Geerup.

Its as much a crime for this to happen to Geerup as it is for it to happen to anyone else and Geerup has my sympathy for that.
He also has my support but I see no reason why that support should not be as forthcoming as his was for everyone his friend VFX falsely DMCA'd.
Geerup chose not to distance himself from VFX when it all went down and even attacked the victims.
I will indeed lend my voice to the chorus crying out on his behalf but it will be a very quiet voice.
