i have it ps2 and this makes the ps2 one look rubbish!

on the ps2 version..

you cant have children

when your pet has babies they just stay in this basket untill they grow into full grown

animals and you cant talk them out.

and you cant do half of the things you can do on the p.c version

but now i have sims3 so i havent gone on the pets one in like year

yeah you can get birds and womrats. All you have to do is buy a cage and then click on it and select..purchase pet.

You need the sims 2. The sims 2 pets is a expansion pack.

You have to own the original Sims 2 game or Sims 2 Deluxe because that is the Base game. The Sims 2 Pets is an expansion pack and expansion packs are "add on" cds. Again you need to own the Sims 2 on PC. Does that answer your question?

get pets because you have to install the latest enxpansion packs LAST. If you buy bon voyage, you will screw your game if you try to install pets.
