this was one of my favorite parts of the game - gliding in to a battle with intense music playing in the background, doing flying jumps from platform to platform while at the same time fighting the alien guy and avoiding the swinging pendulum in a heart-pumping dance of death, and with crazy-beautiful graphics to top it all off - man, this game was amazing. way ahead of its' time

they need to make a MDK 3 (and make it like this game, not MDK 2. that sucked)

@hongfireonly I'm sure there are a lot of people like that, too bad their dreams get crushed because some big publisher denies their ideas because they're too risky or won't make a huge profit. Try some indie games. There are lot of good independent content out there that rivals big titles in quality.

@dessan18 I disagree with your opinion. It is how you see that 'upgrade' i see it as a downgrade. Mechanics changed too much to a level in wich most games are very easy to finish. With few exceptions. Also the pacing and scale have changed too much. While the pacing did change in a good way, i still miss some cryptic parts wich required a lot of exploring looking at games as Silent Hill. Now the scale got a huge downgrade with lots of SP games taking 4 - 5 hours to complete. Thats my opinion.

They are easy to finish for you, but are they easy to finish for people that just start out playing games, like we did when we were little? People don't like having too little info on where to go, they need more objectives to keep away from the frustration of where to go next. "Scale" as in how big the game is. We couldn't make big large 3D worlds back then like in some RPGs and MMOs today.Back then it took that long because we didn't know what to do. You can burn through those games fast too

One of my favorite games for psx! I believe it was made by the same studio that made Earthworm Jim, at least the first one. Both MDK and EWJ were amazingly creative, very surreal and funny, Especially Schwing Shwang from mdk2, or whatever his name was..
