  • It's funny how people come in here saying it's overpowered or slow or too heavy because they clearly don't get the point of the bike. The point of it is to build something that IS overpowered, impractical and dangerous - because you CAN! It's an exercise in 'who cares, let's do it' not 'let's see how fast we can go'.

  • There is a big difference between building something ridiculous just because you can, and buying it to look cool. The builder of this bike gets nothing but respect for me,yet anyone who buys it is a loser with quite a few shortcomings in life. This bike pretty much defines what cruiser fags are about, trying to look badass. They would take candy from a baby if it made them feel big and cool. Ive met 3 guys that owned this bike and they were the 3 biggest losers ive ever met.

  • You know those lawn tractors that they park in rows in front of large department or hardware stores? They have ridiculously low prices and except for new 'aerodynamic' bodywork (cuz, that's what you need at 1.3mph) they are essentially the same tractors that high-school dropouts and former convicts have been assembling for 30 years on some Henry Ford-era assembly line. Anyway, those tractors have a higher degree of engineering than Boss Hoss motorcycles.

    What you are saying is it makes sense to put a bigger motor in a mustang then turn around and add another 1500 pounds. Which kills all the purpose of adding the bigger motor. In the result of killing any handling performance in the process! Then paying 5 times more for something that does less. Show me were any sport car completely kills performance for comfort, they may compromise, not kill it. Your defense of the stupidity of this product is not logical!!!

  • Great. And you have to reposition it for every corner... Man, this is again something needless. Things, which doesn't make sense are cool and I love them. But that isn't just fine with making no sense, no, it's completely useless. You can't even drive it except in the USA. The Triumph Rocket is a motorbike, you can ride and it goes around the corners pretty well. So, if I want a overpowered bike, I would grab the Rocket. But, whatever. You can't argue about flavour.

Ive seen vids of jap bikes carving corners, hitting 190mph an straights, riding on tracks etc etc. What do you see Hoss's doing?.....Nothing!!! The vids on these are either idling or puffing smoke. Useless and needless junk.

  • totally agree. i was trying to put accross that you can do pretty much anything with a jap bike. you can scratch, commute, even the sports stuff will handle a continent bash, but these stupid pieces of junk are good for nothing. apart from chewing on their own gearbox's hahahaha.

  • @Hirthirthirt Top speed will increase slightly, because the bike is much lighter than whatever car it was probably in, but other than that yes I totally agree with you.

    But you have to understand that ppl who like the boss hoss bikes don't really care about cornering, don't really care about drag racing japanese bikes. They only want something big and loud as a motherfucker. And the Boss Hoss fulfils that.

    So to them the japanese bikes are just usless toys. And to you they are engineering marvels...

    Aren't these just useless toys? I mean the sport bikes are performance over form. They use carbon fiber and plastics because its the more efficient way instead of putting looks first. I think this things a toy for Mr. Badass who wants to be a badass but doesn't want to go fast. (Slower bike makes you tougher remember kids!)
