Transhumanism???????? What the hell is all this about??? What is a Transhumanism? Dear God I am behind of the times; well my name is Teutonic Knight. :p
This sort of things remind me of the Fascist things in the past, how people will take a side on a new idea… It stated low then got big after WWI. DNA and genetic talks were one of the things in the past, Now it seems we are starting to see a new era of this sort but with AI and Cyborgs.
The funny thing is that by posting on the web you are contributing to the very thing that you fear. The internet is possibly the beginning of a world wide mind that may become self-aware in the future if it is not already that now. You may be becoming part of the hive that you claim to be warning people about.
I suggest that you stop using all forms of technology and go and live in a cave, that is your only hope. :-D
Good video. It does however leave out one important fact. The people planning this " enlightenment" are the rich and powerful elite. They aren't planning of taking humanity anywhere we are just a means to an end that they think will give them ultimate control. It's all about the hunt with these people we are pawns to them.
@MrMprincipe Where is your evidence? I am the United States media coordinator for the Transhumanist Student Network, so needless to say, I know a bit about "transhumanists." Most people/researchers that claim to be aligned with transhumanism/H+ are trying to better mankind, and envision a very free and democratic future. Video poster...One of the very functions of transhumanist thought is to assess existential risk.
Two factors to consider when thinking about life extension...resources and environment. Plenty of food, land, energy, water, etc. for all people, we just have to change infrastructure. Starvation isn't a food supply problem, it's a food distribution problem. Energy: research nanosolar panels, they could dominate the energy market in a few years, and provide everything we need. Pollution: there are brilliant nano-solutions being worked out. You can't assess the future by looking at the present.
@Momentheum environment, food, energy, water?? why? if we were robots, we would need only resources... we have 10000 times more energy than we need, came from the sun
