Hi Startazz,

Where about do you fly from, I seen on Squadron Leaders forum your looking for a flying buddy in the norwich area. Me and a few mates fly at catton park, there are far too many dogs and people there most of the time for it to be any fun at all.

Wheres your flying spot, looks really nice.

@0n3m1s1s0 Yeah i'm good my man just haven't had the weather down this end to go out flying much and when i do the missus is doing something else ;-( but i'll have a look through some of my old video's i never posted and see what i can come up with ;-) also haven't been watching much on here but i will start again soon don't worry dread you can't get rid of me that easy lol.

I was wondering, is it possible to use a cell phone or digital camera (with the correct size adapter) to view videos from your camera at the flying field? Seems like the micro card should work if it fits in the device and the file format is compatible. It would be a convenient way to review on site.

@Stingray8854 Yeah i can't see why not as i do it at home like that mate ;-) so just because your at the flying field wouldn't make no difference,if you want to chat about anything else mate you can send me a PM if you like instead of doing it on this video all the time ;-) just a thought and i'll send you a friend request as it might make it a bit easier for you.

I think I could maybe have flown UNDER the basket by maybe 10 to 15 feet or so, but not level with it. Too easy to misjudge and crash.

@Stingray8854 If i had of flown under them at that distance i would of hit the ground mate as it doesn't look that low but believe me it was at times ;-) and thanks for all your comments and i'll check your vids out in a bit ok.

Nice! I have the same plane. Ordered a new fuselage for it (receiver died) and also ordered the same camera. Had an Aiptek cam before. It worked but it could only be side mounted and was heavy. Needed lots of runway. The keychain cam is less than half the weight. I'm excited to get back in the air and shoot new video.  I'd have been tempted to buzz the balloon too, but not sure I'd have the nerve to get closer than you did. Nice video!

@IEATSRT Yeah i think i just might of lol,and people on here are saying i should of got closer or i should of done this or that but i was worried about the safety aspect of flying to close them but they were cheering at one point and waving but that don't show on the video ;-( but thanks for the comment Brandon.

@Macsgrafs Yep best time to fly for me and it felt as though i was closer than what the video showed but i guess you had to be there to see that plus didn't want to upset/scare anyone on the balloon as there were kids on there too,thanks for the comment Mac and hope your good lady is doing well mate.

Great flying my man. I watched the video at Bangkok airport while waiting for flight back to China. this time you got a real good footage, balloon was awesome :) you should have gotten extreme close to it so we could see the faces of people in there :D hehehehe, Enjoyed the vid, keep up the good work. @alishanmao You get about my man ;-) there was two balloons there last night but i missed them by about half an hour ;-( never mind i hope to get them again soon as they come over there most years and at the time it seemed as though i was too close but you don't get that from the video,i'll try and point my house out next time but it might be just to far away i'll see mate and thanks for the comment.

cool Startazz! im thinking about getting a 1st hobby grade plane, what do u think would be good? someone was telling me a slowstick? lol i always wondered, how the heck do they steer those hot air baloons? haha do u just go up and down and go wherever the wind takes you?

@95666 Slow stick would be good mate o the hobbyzone super cub but i started with this one a couple od years ago (hobbyzone firebird phantom) but i think they have stoped making them now as i was trying to get another one but having trouble ;-( i think the wind takes them for the most part and then can go up and down at will though,the hot air ballon that is lol.

Hi Bud, nice video. I have chased a few balloons but you don't know how far away they are and don't want to crash into one :-) the plane looks close but when you see the video your still miles away. You were lucky that one was so close.
