Contra my friend is one of few games that I would consider a instant classic. It has some very memorable music and is relatively hard at first, but once you get the hang of the patterns and where the enemies are, you'll be able to get through it within a short period of time. It is side scrolling at its best. Definitely check it out! There's plenty of videos here on youtube that show good gameplay. I may record some of my own. Thanks for the view.
