Legal aid only works if u don't have any assets. I got a good legal aid lawyer for a shooting when I was 19. I got off. Then I got charged with a bullshit conspiracy charge and got 18months. Was out in 6 ( on parole). But I didn't qualify for legal aid on the second. Legal aid dosent mean it's a shit lawyer
