Just another group of assholes of the new gneration, looking to set up incidents so they can film and post on youtube. That is the short of it. It's not the Police, it's these fools.
Many of the comments are of the form, "It's illegal for black people to read there. Black people should know better than to provoke police by reading after they've been warned. If they want to read they can do it somewhere else, because it's inappropriate in a memorial." I wonder if they're trolls or just too profoundly daft to realize their own absurdity.
KILL ALL THE POLICE. KILL ALL THE POLICE. KILL ALL THE POLICE. KILL ALL THE POLICE. KILL ALL THE POLICE. KILL ALL THE POLICE. KILL ALL THE POLICE. KILL ALL THE POLICE. KILL ALL THE POLICE. KILL ALL THE POLICE. KILL ALL THE POLICE. KILL ALL THE POLICE. KILL ALL THE POLICE. KILL ALL THE POLICE. KILL ALL THE POLICE. KILL ALL THE POLICE. KILL ALL THE POLICE. KILL ALL THE POLICE. KILL ALL THE POLICE. KILL ALL THE POLICE. KILL ALL THE POLICE. KILL ALL THE POLICE.
I've never been there but I am guessing it is against the rules to skateboard as well. It is a memorial so it wouldn't be appropriate to dance. Just as it wouldn't be appropriate to dance at the vietnam memorial either or the memorial of fallen soldiers. I don't know about you but I would be pissed you danced in front of my Grandfathers name. The people purposely wanted to cause trouble as seen with the couple who danced right after the police warned them. No consideration by these people.
Okay, the first cop was being very polite, just simply informing everyone what the situation was. And people have to push their luck, thinking they are above the law. Regardless of what the law is, you all have it better than you think you do living in this country, don't take it for granted. They basically slapped the officers in the face, and spit on their words. I agree it's weird they can't dance in a public place, I think the law is in fact wrong there. But if they tell you to move, move.
@ThisWeekInFascism well then no laws will be followed at all, because you know that there are certain people that disagree with every law in the book. So why even have a law system? no one said it was fair, but laws were set in place for a reason, because of jackasses who can't obey authority. I understand, that this instance was ridiculous, way out of line by the police. but they thought they were sent there to congregate and cause issues and were trying to prevent an issue.
@TheStevinicus If people don't understand the difference between "disagreement" and unjust, or "fairness" and unjust, the people are the problem, not the laws.
@ThisWeekInFascism then be arrested, it's as simple as that. The police don't write the laws, but they have a duty as part of their job to enforce it. If they don't enforce laws, they lose their job. What these people are doing do not change the law, because that is not how the process goes. All they are doing is to elicit a response from police doing their duty, then turn around and call it "police brutality." Protest correctly, and you won't be arrested. Simple as that.
@HuSkOgS No, it's not as simple as that. If a cops wants to act in a way that is in conflict with honor and justice and oaths they took to preserve the spirit of justice, then as Americans their only course is to deport themselves or commit suicide. Police take an oath to something far above laws. Ethics.
I, do solemnly swear, that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States, and the Constitution of the State of California against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance, to the Constitution of the State Of California; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservations or purpose of evasion...
...and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties, of the office of Police Officer of the City of Anaheim, acting to the best of my ability.
United States Constitution under Article IV it states:
“The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution." Not random laws that violate the Constitution.
The International Association Of Chiefs Of Police recommend this oath:
On my honor, I will never betray my badge, my integrity, my character, or the public trust. I will always have the courage to hold myself and others accountable for our actions. I will always uphold the constitution, my community and the agency I serve.
If a cop can't handle the responsibilities of being an adult in a free society, they should get the fuck out of this country or be introduced to what justice really looks like.
@ThisWeekInFascism First, the law is NOT a violation of the Constitution, as upheld in Oberwetter v. Hilliard. The people challenged the law in court, and lost. Time to do it legislatively, aka petition. Second, you cannot honestly be arguing not allowing protesting, demonstrating, picketing, or dancing to demonstrate INSIDE the Jefferson Memorial is "unethical," especially when it can be done outside, which is about 10 feet away. You don't have the right to do whatever the fuck you want.
@HuSkOgS Unjust laws are not to be followed. The lawmakers, cops, and the supreme court cannot do whatever the fuck they want. The people are sovereign. Welcome to America.
@ThisWeekInFascism Except the "people" that actually gives a shit about this particular law is few. Because by common-sense, people don't think they have a right to dance and disrupt other visitors in a memorial, a place of respect and commemoration. The sad thing is, you and the people who protested about this law cannot even say why the law is unjust, but instead, have to spread propaganda like "dancing is illegal in the U.S." to find support from the "people."
@HuSkOgS Injustice is like pornography. You know it when you see it. At least for those who have a frame of reference. The sad thing is, you and the people who support this law seek respect and commemoration in a place that respects and commemorates a man diametrically opposed to the people demanding respect and commemoration from the people who are actually showing respect and commemoration. To oppose this law honors Jefferson.
@ThisWeekInFascism Again, people like you are confusing the First Amendment as the right to whatever you want, whenever you want, wherever you want, however you want, and to whomever you want. Which is simply not true. You guys think a law is "unjust" just because the behavior it prohibits does not cause "physical harm" to others, which is absurd. Others have the SAME RIGHTS as you, and you do not have a right to infringe on others' right to quiet enjoyment of a public facility.
@ThisWeekInFascism Because these jackasses thought the law was "unjust" and thought it would be cool to violate it to elicit a response from the Park Police and to make a scene to gain publicity, they caused the memorial to be shut down for 30 minutes, preventing other visitors from visiting. Sorry, but the police do not have a "choice" to NOT enforce the law they sworn to uphold, but these people have a "choice" to protest CORRECTLY, LEGALLY, and EFFECTIVELY for a change.
@ThisWeekInFascism Let me reduce this down to kindergarten logic for you. Well he started it!!!~~ You don't get to break laws and turn around and bash the police for upholding and enforcing the law. Hilarious.
I guess for wanting the protesters to do it legally, correctly, and effectively to go straight to the source of the law, instead of these publicity stuns that only make protesters in general look bad, is for "pussies." Okay bro. Keep trying.
@HuSkOgS Yes we can break laws. And then we get arrested. But cowards like you whine so much, it makes the rest of us think you're jealous at the sight of others sacrificing for what one believes. Cops are cowards and so are you. To reduce this down to simple language, fuck the police, you bootlicker.
@ThisWeekInFascism Yeah, except it was determined this law was NOT a violation of the First Amendment. Like I said, people like you have an extremely perverted interpretation of the Constitution, and act without regards to the rights of other people. It's all about what you think, and the people who disagree are not "just" because only the "just see the unjust." I agree that people can choose to stand up for what they believe, but just don't turn around and blame the cops when you're arrested
@HuSkOgS A Supreme Court appointed by a President who was appointed by the Supreme Court is a perverted interpretation of the Constitution. Why not blame the cops. They have earned the peoples disrespect. The court also said as long as restrictions on expression don’t favor or disfavor any particular group, they are generally allowed. How is the police restricting access to others without regard, consistent with this law?
@ThisWeekInFascism 1. That is not the law for restrictions on expression. 2. the court was not the supreme court. I give up. Do some research before you post again, thank you.
@HuSkOgS The issue here is the fact that those that interpret the law, are misinterpreting the Constitution, those that write the laws are violating the Constitution, and those that execute these laws are violating the law. This is the justification for protest.
@ThisWeekInFascism the interpretation of the first amendment were derived from the legislative history behind the writing of the Constitution by our Founding Fathers. The Founding Fathers never intended our rights to be unqualified, like you want to believe. The crazy thing is that, the interpretation set by decades of trials by so many courts of both elected AND appointed judges, and many Supreme Court justices appointed by different presidents, are "wrong." But Adam is right. Okay.
@ThisWeekInFascism I've studied enough Constitutional law to see some of the things people consider to be "rights". "Land of the Free" is the phrase these people love to say. The best part is, they only care about the part of the Constitution that seems to help their cause (even though it doesn't), but ignore the fact that the Constitution also gives different branches of government different powers to regulate the people within the bounds of the Constitution. And this was NOT out-of-bounds.
@ThisWeekInFascism And regardless of whether you believed these police were over-stepping their power and was engaging in police brutality, it still doesn't change the fact that the law exists, and was challenged and upheld in a court of law. You have the choice, as the people, to sign a petition and amend the law. But guess what, most people don't think this law is unjust. Therefore, these protests resort to propaganda to spread hate, even though the police do not write or interpret laws.
@ThisWeekInFascism Guess how that happened? Propaganda. All these videos of this event are edited, titled, and described with such bias that anyone who is not aware of the context, background events, and law are only going to conclude "OMG ARRESTED FOR DANCING! POLICE BRUTALITY!." I suppose this is a strategy as well, and you are probably going to say "the government does it too!" But when you start a "revolution" with lies and half-truths, the result can only be just that. I'm done here.
@ThisWeekInFascism It's like if i drive drunk and cause an accident, and the police decides to arrest me and shut down the highway because of the accident and people get blocked and delayed as a result. And instead of blaming the one who broke the law and caused the police action, I blame the police for coming in with fire trucks and police cars to shut down the highway because "they're the ones who did it." You see how stupid your logic is yet? In before "the law is unjust."
@HuSkOgS The Right to drive drunk is not in the First Amendment. The Right of the people peaceably to assemble is.You see how anti-American your logic is yet?
@ThisWeekInFascism Instead of telling what you believe and what you stand for truthfully and whole-heartedly, protesters like these have to resort to propaganda and half-truths. You guys exhibit the police in such a negative light without giving the "people" the entire story, the context, and the law. People don't know which "law" is unjust because they don't even know the law exists. This tells me that these types of protests are nothing but a publicity stunt and cry for attention.
@insaneblazinazn Probably not, because something like this already happened before. These people were there to protest what had happened before. A flash mob danced in the memorial and some got arrested. They sued the park police and department of interior claiming that the law violated their first amendment right to free speech. The D.C. district court decided in May 2011 that the law does not violate First Amendment and the flash mob lost. This is the exact same thing. Except dumber.
Ghandi, MLK and every other person who ever fought for civil liberties, freedom and equality would be so disappointed that their ideas are now being made a a mockery of by people who don't want to follow simple rules.
This is outrageous!... I understand the whole RESPECT Issue but come on people. The cop didn't even Explain the whole reason to them just kept pushing them off and dancing around the truth!... This could of been avoided IF the Police would of handled it better by being down to earth and the whole RESPECTFUL reason why it is what it is. Like a bunch of immature Children. It should not be illegal to show happiness or love anywhere in AMERICA. We are not FREE anymore people..
There is no longer a reason for any America to pay taxes or recognise their government.
It is time for the people to take down their government and exile almost every government official. America is no longer a country that deserves to call itself free.
@SonnyBlack224 i just did the research and you are wrong, permits are only required for planned marches with street closures and megaphones. federal land is by definition public land paid for by the taxpayers unless otherwise stated. so with these things in mind it was not just cause for arrest when a simple escort off the property could have done the same without making the usa and its police look like a militarized force of anger and hypocrisy to the world. i am ashamed of the whole situation.
Why would you even want to dance at the Jefferson Memorial?... They knew the law, silly or not, but these individuals go out to only cause a scene. You resist, that's what happens. If you want to protest or 'quietly express' yourselves go to the courts that passed the law; not to the Jefferson Memorial and ruin everyone's day.
For everyone's information...NO ONE was arrested for DANCING. There is no such law. They were arrested for DEMONSTRATING WITHOUT A PERMIT. It was clearly an organized and pre-planned demonstration, which on Federal property requires a permit. The law that requires a permit on Federal property was NOT written or supported by Police Officers...but yet...wait for it..Politicians...shocking, right.
@SonnyBlack224 Okay, so why did they force people to stop videoing what happened there? And why didn't they explain the reason for arresting them when the people asked? If its a free country you should be free to film in a public place and you have the right to question authority.
For some reason i cant see the British police behaving in such a manner.
@MacNutMusic Yea we can easily see why, too many people are gonna have proof that the police is a bunch of idiots and will be able to defend themselves on the BS charges cops give you.
@AccessDenied55 I'm no fan of Bush (nor his daddy, nor Bill Clinton) because they got us into a LOT of the mess we're currently in. But Obama is just exacerbating the problem with his socialist agenda. Obama appoints to positions of responsibility, America-haters because they, like him, believe in the destruction of free trade and the ideals that made this nation great. We need to get rid of the socialists, the RINOs, and everybody who stands in the way of freedom and REGULATED capitalism.
I suppose this is similar to blaming for police for speed ticket. I suppose many people don't understand that police do exactly to enforce the law. the law which elected representatives by people made in behalf of them. if most people like quiet disturbance free environment at memorial park, they will set the policy and rule to keep the environment, and police are there to enforce it. protestor can choose to do so perhaps outside or place where they don't disturb other visitors.
@ORANGE196801 So now quietly and peacefully expressing the Rights which Jefferson has come to symbolize at the foot of the statue meant to memorialize him somehow dishonors his memory? Do you even understand yourself? Adam Kokesh, the one who gets bodyslammed, is an Iraq War vet.. but you feel you should tell him where he can PEACEFULLY express his rights?
funny how certain people want to attack me, I thought you were trying to protect FREEDOM? I am not attacking you, why attack me? My point is, those people went there to create the problem, so they should not complain about the outcome. The National Monuments are not meant for anything but peace and quiet, I think that's why the law exist. If you took your children there and people were being crazy and knocked over your child, how would you react? Pretty sure you would think different.
@truckersteve1973 "and people were being crazy and knocked over your child" - I fail to see how dancing silently is acting crazy. If anyones acting crazy, it's the police for arresting them. So yes, if my child was knocked over by the police, I wouldn't be happy about it. But i'd be blaming the police officers, not the innocent people dancing.
@truckersteve1973 so should they outlaw swearing next? i don't want my children to hear any swearwords so they should arrest people for swearing in public too. memorials are meant for peace and quiet so heck, why don't they just outlaw talking altogether? our government is not nearly fascist enough.
@truckersteve1973 The unConstitutional interpretation of the law is the PROBLEM, genius! And who decided the monuments are meant for "peace and quiet"? That would come as a surprise to all the people who hold enormous rallies at the Lincoln, Washington, Jefferson memorials all the time!!! People aren't "attacking you" because they don't want to protect your freedom, people are just pointing out your ridiculous logic because you're a moron!
Dance if you want to dance, the cops can't stop anyone dancing, they can just arrest them if they do, this law is so stupid, why are people not allowed to dance, it hurts no one someone dancing.
This law has just been made up to see how far they can control people, thats the reason for this law nothing else and it's pretty sick, any cop that carries out such stupid laws most be stupid themselves, when people get the control back these cops will not be forgive for there stupidness.
Oh please. There are sill many silly laws in placed that are not enforced, people are still on a power trip and enforce what they want too. Where I live it's illegal to have a yard sell in the front lawn but people still do it and it's also illegal to have sexually oral contact. SO when a coper decided to enforce a law when they feel like it they can arrest us for anything?
Get a clue! These people were just trying to create a scene and cause a problem. Yes there is a proper way to protest, its called file for the permit and hold your protest. Cops were just doing their jobs and following the law that Congress put into place. I agree the law is stupid, but creating the problem in this incident, does not serve a purpose for anyone. Disobedience of our laws should not be tolerated. If people want to dance at a National Monument, then get the law changed.
@truckersteve1973 wow you are definitely part of the problem with that attitude of self slavery. you obviously have a vested interest in the police state so you must be a cop or want to be some sort of authoritarian. get a permit for free speech you say. why not move over to russia or some other country that is not the last bastion of freedom. we do not need people like you in America changing it to be some globalist entity one youtube post at a time.
@truckersteve1973 so the proper way to protest is to NOT protest? that makes no sense whatsoever... there's a reason why people decide to protest. they're doing their part to expose a flaw in the legal system by using civil disobedience. filing for permits is not guaranteed and it sure as hell wouldn't get their message across.
@truckersteve1973 Oh come on man, there are many laws in placed that are not enforced... it was absolutely ridiculous to react so strongly to something so trivial.
When will peaceful protest become violent revolution. We must only look in the history books to see what happens when peaceful people are oppressed by violent means. Put aside your divisions, as divide and rule is the major tool used against us, this includes religion, colour, race, political all the way down to football teams and street gangs. We must unite against the police state and free ourselves.
What's the right way to protest then?? The whole point of protesting is to bring light to an issue that is by definition unjust to a group or collective majority....
How do you protest? -Oh wait you don't... You just let the police have their way....
One cop kneeling on the Freedom dancers head and the other cop telling him to stop resisting. So we are just suppose to obey attacks on Freedom and what America is suppose to stand for??
Then the other cop says to the people recording the attack on Freedom "Do you people have a permit to record". WHAT??? We need a permit to record now? FUCK THESE ANTI-AMERICAN, ANTI-FREEDOM PIGS.
I'm concerned about the militarization of our police forces and the loss of rights to assemble. You ought to see how fast the police respond when a group of abused workers march out of their workplace demanding to be recognized as a union, it is like goon squads raining down in some instances. In this case however- how do you put a number of how many can dance and distract other visitors- 2-3,000? Let them dance out in the lawn, let others enjoy the monument. Show common sense.
This is an example of the new law enforcement that has slowly swept the country. This breed of law enforcement is better classified as DRONES. They do not think for themselves, they do not even think about the illegality of their own actions are. They think only in terms of them against US. This is also a natural byproduct of working in the field of law enforcement. "This is not going to improve anytime soon!"
I think the officer was very polite with these people and I feel bad for him. I have a lot of police brutality video's and I have seen them but, if it were my job to tell young people they couldnt dance on that property I would feel bad but, I would do it. Poor guy and they are assholes with nothing else better to do
@aaishasmusic1963 The guy was doing his job and he told people that if they dance on that property, they would be arrested. Everyone started dancing. It may be wrong that they cant dance but they aggravated the police officer. Believe me I am not cop lover. My profile screams injustice that most people couldn't imagine. In a way, I provoke the FBI/CIA on Facebook by promoting the truth. They fight me with technology & direct energy weapons. I guess I just imagine being in a working mans shoes
@aaishasmusic1963 Their job is to cultivate the peace remember ?...Under a tyrannical system their job would be to keep the order of their masters !...
A bunch ignorant people who don't know how to follow the rules what an embarrassment and disgrace to america if you don't like the laws leave and see how you would like it someplace were they will cut your head off for speaking out.

How is the police restricting access to others without regard, consistent with this law?
ThisWeekInFascism 2 months ago
@ThisWeekInFascism 1. That is not the law for restrictions on expression. 2. the court was not the supreme court. I give up. Do some research before you post again, thank you.
HuSkOgS 2 months ago
@HuSkOgS The issue here is the fact that those that interpret the law, are misinterpreting the Constitution, those that write the laws are violating the Constitution, and those that execute these laws are violating the law. This is the justification for protest.
ThisWeekInFascism 2 months ago
@ThisWeekInFascism the interpretation of the first amendment were derived from the legislative history behind the writing of the Constitution by our Founding Fathers. The Founding Fathers never intended our rights to be unqualified, like you want to believe. The crazy thing is that, the interpretation set by decades of trials by so many courts of both elected AND appointed judges, and many Supreme Court justices appointed by different presidents, are "wrong." But Adam is right. Okay.
HuSkOgS 2 months ago
@ThisWeekInFascism I've studied enough Constitutional law to see some of the things people consider to be "rights". "Land of the Free" is the phrase these people love to say. The best part is, they only care about the part of the Constitution that seems to help their cause (even though it doesn't), but ignore the fact that the Constitution also gives different branches of government different powers to regulate the people within the bounds of the Constitution. And this was NOT out-of-bounds.
HuSkOgS 2 months ago
@HuSkOgS "Rights" are not given. Rights are taken. And that's what these good Americans are doing.
ThisWeekInFascism 2 months ago
@ThisWeekInFascism And regardless of whether you believed these police were over-stepping their power and was engaging in police brutality, it still doesn't change the fact that the law exists, and was challenged and upheld in a court of law. You have the choice, as the people, to sign a petition and amend the law. But guess what, most people don't think this law is unjust. Therefore, these protests resort to propaganda to spread hate, even though the police do not write or interpret laws.
HuSkOgS 2 months ago
@HuSkOgS Most people DO think this law and many others in growing number are indeed unjust.

HuSkOgS 2 months ago
@HuSkOgS The context, background events, and law, strengthen their actions. Bring it on.
ThisWeekInFascism 2 months ago
@ThisWeekInFascism It's like if i drive drunk and cause an accident, and the police decides to arrest me and shut down the highway because of the accident and people get blocked and delayed as a result. And instead of blaming the one who broke the law and caused the police action, I blame the police for coming in with fire trucks and police cars to shut down the highway because "they're the ones who did it." You see how stupid your logic is yet? In before "the law is unjust."
HuSkOgS 2 months ago
@HuSkOgS The Right to drive drunk is not in the First Amendment. The Right of the people peaceably to assemble is.You see how anti-American your logic is yet?
ThisWeekInFascism 2 months ago
@ThisWeekInFascism Instead of telling what you believe and what you stand for truthfully and whole-heartedly, protesters like these have to resort to propaganda and half-truths. You guys exhibit the police in such a negative light without giving the "people" the entire story, the context, and the law. People don't know which "law" is unjust because they don't even know the law exists. This tells me that these types of protests are nothing but a publicity stunt and cry for attention.
HuSkOgS 2 months ago
@HuSkOgS "Publicity stunt"? I didn't know protesters have a book coming out.

Do stories like these get followed up on? These are people and being arrested or even booked than released can carry seriously implications
insaneblazinazn 2 months ago
@insaneblazinazn Probably not, because something like this already happened before. These people were there to protest what had happened before. A flash mob danced in the memorial and some got arrested. They sued the park police and department of interior claiming that the law violated their first amendment right to free speech. The D.C. district court decided in May 2011 that the law does not violate First Amendment and the flash mob lost. This is the exact same thing. Except dumber.

If you want to protest or 'quietly express' yourselves go to the courts that passed the law; not to the Jefferson Memorial and ruin everyone's day.
dc0999 8 months ago
For everyone's information...NO ONE was arrested for DANCING. There is no such law. They were arrested for DEMONSTRATING WITHOUT A PERMIT. It was clearly an organized and pre-planned demonstration, which on Federal property requires a permit. The law that requires a permit on Federal property was NOT written or supported by Police Officers...but yet...wait for it..Politicians...shocking, right.
Cops don't write the laws, they enforce them.
Do some research before you show your ignorance.
SonnyBlack224 8 months ago
@SonnyBlack224 Okay, so why did they force people to stop videoing what happened there? And why didn't they explain the reason for arresting them when the people asked? If its a free country you should be free to film in a public place and you have the right to question authority.
For some reason i cant see the British police behaving in such a manner.

We need to get rid of the socialists, the RINOs, and everybody who stands in the way of freedom and REGULATED capitalism.

what a respectful way to act at a man's memorial-dancing around like you are at a party.
Armen11011101 9 months ago

Adam Kokesh, the one who gets bodyslammed, is an Iraq War vet.. but you feel you should tell him where he can PEACEFULLY express his rights?
eluminated 9 months ago
funny how certain people want to attack me, I thought you were trying to protect FREEDOM? I am not attacking you, why attack me? My point is, those people went there to create the problem, so they should not complain about the outcome. The National Monuments are not meant for anything but peace and quiet, I think that's why the law exist. If you took your children there and people were being crazy and knocked over your child, how would you react? Pretty sure you would think different.
truckersteve1973 9 months ago
@truckersteve1973 "and people were being crazy and knocked over your child" - I fail to see how dancing silently is acting crazy. If anyones acting crazy, it's the police for arresting them. So yes, if my child was knocked over by the police, I wouldn't be happy about it. But i'd be blaming the police officers, not the innocent people dancing.
b0bm4nz88 9 months ago
@truckersteve1973 so should they outlaw swearing next? i don't want my children to hear any swearwords so they should arrest people for swearing in public too. memorials are meant for peace and quiet so heck, why don't they just outlaw talking altogether? our government is not nearly fascist enough.
zepps88 9 months ago

MsNeoDraven 9 months ago
If people want to dance at a National Monument, then get the law changed.
truckersteve1973 9 months ago
@truckersteve1973 wow you are definitely part of the problem with that attitude of self slavery. you obviously have a vested interest in the police state so you must be a cop or want to be some sort of authoritarian. get a permit for free speech you say. why not move over to russia or some other country that is not the last bastion of freedom. we do not need people like you in America changing it to be some globalist entity one youtube post at a time.
mattbaldea 9 months ago
@truckersteve1973 so the proper way to protest is to NOT protest? that makes no sense whatsoever... there's a reason why people decide to protest. they're doing their part to expose a flaw in the legal system by using civil disobedience. filing for permits is not guaranteed and it sure as hell wouldn't get their message across.
zepps88 9 months ago
@truckersteve1973 Oh come on man, there are many laws in placed that are not enforced... it was absolutely ridiculous to react so strongly to something so trivial.

When will peaceful protest become violent revolution. We must only look in the history books to see what happens when peaceful people are oppressed by violent means. Put aside your divisions, as divide and rule is the major tool used against us, this includes religion, colour, race, political all the way down to football teams and street gangs. We must unite against the police state and free ourselves.
