INXS are to me what a band is all about. Bunch of guys who are all mates and don't take themselves too seriously, form a band and put the time in. They play thousands of gigs, release a few records and build themselves up in their own country and then other countries. Get a few breaks through hard work and become global. I saw them 3 times and they were still a bunch of mates having a good laugh. Michael Hutchence was the perfect frontman, and Andy Farriss, the perfect songwriting partner.

What can one say.This is just too great for words. what a band and what a frontman!It was like the sky had fallendown when Michael died. I know this was part of the Live Aid concert. On the Live Aid DVD there's only one INXS song. Can anyone tell me if its possible to get the whole of this concert. I just have to have it. Rock on in heaven Michael. Us fans miss you beyond words.

I think Hutch is the sexiest man that ever lived!!And the greatest live performing frontman!!Inxs also played Wembley Stadium and other gigs in the UK.Among other homes [scattered],Hutch's last known address was around the London area.But my [?]is,What is it you don't like about Simple Minds?I love Jim Kerr's voice and their music,however I have never seen them in concert!I am curious to know why someone wouldn't like them!It broke my heart to read that!!But I am curious!

1) Simple Minds were overplayed on the radio at the time

2) They're dull as dishwater. I can't stand U2 either, for the same reason. Or Coldplay, come to think of it.

3) The 80s were depressing enough without having to listen to that dreary dirge. And being reminded of a depressing time does not make me any happier now. On the rare occasion they're played on the radio now, I switch off immediately.
